I agree with you, but I still recommend taking ginger tea. It did make my tinnitus worse (dunno why), but after dribbling it my hyperacusis was reduced immediately. When I would stop drinking, hyperacusis would come back. I did not use any Pink or White noise. I don't find that helpful at all.

The one that melts in the water.. any kind.. doesn't matter. It helped me because it would reduce the tension in my muscles and reduced the pain. I would take it for two weeks and then I would stop.. and then again because it is not good to take it a lot
