No, is that supposed to help?

    Sensitive to Bass

Hi Claire, I’m doing much better. That’s not an issue for me at all anymore. I do, however, still get tinnitus spikes (like today - first time I’ve been on here in awhile) which bother me. It’s usually induced when in a quiet room for too long and typically subsides after awhile. Just wish it...

Hyperacusis Returns Every Few Months — Anxiety Revs It Up

It’s not painful, but I’ll notice pitches in random sounds. For example, I’ll hear a high pitch if outside and it’ll just be from the wind or road noise. Something that shouldn’t bother me, but it’s a pitch that I now pick up on when otherwise it was just noise.

Hyperacusis Returns Every Few Months — Anxiety Revs It Up

I've had tinnitus for five years now, and I would say most days I have habituated. I don't typically notice my tinnitus other than if I am in a very quiet space, falling asleep, or have eaten something super salty/spicy but it usually resolves to baseline within a few hours. However, I have...

    Sensitive to Bass

I just wanted to respond back that I’m doing a lot better with these noises. It’s not hurting my ears and I don’t hear them everywhere.

    Sensitive to Bass

Have you habituated yet? I would say I’ve habituated pretty well to my high pitched tinnitus, where I don’t hear mine throughout the day at all. I only notice it at night or when my head is on a pillow. This bass though, I hear that anywhere. When I plug my ears, I don’t hear it at all, which...

    Sensitive to Bass

Thanks so much for your thought! I’m thinking/worrying that it may possibly be tinnitus. It’s a low rumbling that I notice most in my left ear only. Super bothered by it tonight. Man...I really hate this all.

    Sensitive to Bass

It didn’t always come back as hyperaccousis. Usually when I get sick, my tinnitus changes (usually get a hum) and it takes awhile to go away but always has. My regular baseline tinnitus is pretty bearable now that I’ve habituated. I don’t ever leave myself in quiet rooms, and I would say it’s...

    Sensitive to Bass

No new medications, noise, etc. only thing has been stress levels have been a bit high (always have worse anxiety in winter). We also just moved into our new home, and I have two little ones so that’s also something to consider. Does hyperaccousis usually resolve?

    Sensitive to Bass

I have recently become really sensitive to low tones, especially bass in TV, music, and the running of our furnace at home. Is this normal hyperacusis activity, or something else? I’ve had hyperacusis in the past, and it did go away over time. I’m wondering if this is the same? I’ve had...

    Needing Some Encouragement

Here I am, two years into my tinnitus, and I am still struggling with the anxiety piece of dealing with this on a daily basis. I am not sure why I developed T, but think it may have something to do with my jaw and overall anxiety. I have constant T, but it is generally low enough that I don't...

    Humming in Head

My head hum is gone this afternoon. Still can't hear as well out of the ear but as I keep getting it to pop, I hope that it will clear up. Definitely better than yesterday! Just giving hope to those others who are reading the post!

    Humming in Head

Congestion for the past 4 days. That's getting better, the hum still sucks. The ringing is actually lower but the hum is super loud and I can't hear well out of my left ear. I took and anxiety pill last night I was freaking out so much, and it was a little better this morning. Praying as the ear...

    Humming in Head

I do not hear the hum when I am in the car, outside, next to motors, etc. like you mentioned. Thankfully, also helps with covering it up. I am so thankful that my office plays white noise throughout our space, because that too helps. The worst is when I am just walking into my home, watching TV...
