I've been having serious spikes. Discouraging. I've had an ear infection for 2 days. It's making my T unbearable.

After having 3 nights of pretty good sleep, the past two nights were "up at 3:30 am, not able to go back to sleep, reading, dozing" forhours
Over the past days, my T has gotten louder, I think. It definitely is present more of the time. I just hope that it does not continue this.
I am trying to apply 2 Cor 12 and glory in my suffering. I know it is not suffering as bad as many people on here, but it feels like it.
I actually slept 4 hours straight, then 4 more hours straight. Not really deep, and I did use Unisom, but better than prior days.
Am I putting too much hope in that device? I want my hope to rest fully on Him.
I check the FDA Approvals every Monday for the 4 major types (PMA, 510, HDE, De Novo) of Devices. No Auricle Device approved this past week.
Discouragement reigns. I am looking to Him, but my T is constant and it is hard to practice the CBT stuff and think other thoughts.
Christ is all I need. This is the hardest trial I have ever faced, but God has been faithful, and kept me from total despair.
For the remainder of today, I played Pandora the entire day, and barely noticed it. If I shut it off, and just sit, it is milder. Good sign?
For some reason, this morning, my T was mild. But it woke me after about 4 hours of sleep and I could get no more.
