    The Positivity Thread

It seems it's rarely a straight road up.I have had Tinnitus for 21 months. At first I was very anxious, then eventually habituated and life resumed as before, but three weeks ago something changed. It either increased in volume or frequency and my brain started on a mild anxiety track. So it's back...

Anyone Have Experience With Amitriptyline for Sleep?

I had quite bad Tinnitus for 21 Months now,and a recent spike has sent me back to amitripyline. After 5 days my T has reduced through the night.I know it's not conclusive, and I will monitor its progress and report back.

    Habituation Revisited

My Tinnitus began in March this year,I freaked out, visited 4 doctors, told to live with it,took 4drugs,then slowly habituated, got off the tablets, and became bullish about T.But surprise, surprise,it upped its game, and now I,m learning again how to accept the new noise. Its nowhere near as difficult...

    I've Been Diagnosed With Tinnitus

Hi,you won't calm down at the start,so see your doctor for tablets to help with sleeping and anxiety. You will calm down over the next few weeks, you will then be on a journey to live with it.I know it seems unfair, but it will get easier.

This is one method that could be tried:D Don,t mask it,accept it,make it your mantra during meditation, let it become your new silence, love it.Don't worry about that, that cannot be controlled.Try this method for enough time.I,ve done this at long last, and at present I,m relaxed about it.It can go...
