If FX-345 does not work, I am going to stick this drug up FREQ 's ass !!!

I don't understand why it would regenerate inner hair cells and not outer. The whole purpose is to "activate" progenitor (supporting) cells in the cochlea, whether inner or outer. It seems these guys have no idea what they are doing. I hope I am wrong though.

Imagine FX-322 or FX-345 actually restores hearing but since the benefits are not long lasting, you suddenly lose your hearing on an important day such as work. LOL. That would be funny.

Try joining the Clinical Trial and you will get your answer.

I believe they are taking a risk by focusing on repair of hair cells. Since many people with significant / severe hearing loss could have either damage or hair cell death. And if patients with hair cell death participate in their trials, this drug will definitely fail.

It would be better to wait until Phase 1b results are out in the first half of 2023. And if results are positive (better than FX-322), maybe they will allow Expanded Access? Let's hope for the best.

Does FX-322 restore hair cells only? I read somewhere it's not only for hair cells but cochlear synapses as well.

Well, if the hair cells are weaker, then they should stop this PCA nonsense and let the grand daddy of inner ear disorders (which is Otonomy) do the job for them! We don't want weak hair cells!

But why did ALL of them start to LOSE those gains? Just asking out of curiosity.

Can someone please explain how the 5 subjects in the image above started to lose the benefits from FX-322 after only a couple of years? From what I know, it takes tens of years for someone to start losing hair cells even if exposed to high levels of noise. Can anyone intelligent explain?

What if FX-345 shows improvements of at least 20 dB in audiograms?
