Disco Club Invitation — Should I Go?

What I do not understand is whether there is any difference between me who has tinnitus with no hearing loss and a normal person who has no tinnitus and attends to a club and has no issues the next day, or perhaps just a mild temporary tinnitus if the noise was really loud?

Disco Club Invitation — Should I Go?

Hi everyone! I have an invitation tomorrow night to a house music event in a disco. I used to like these events and attended to them before my T suddenly appeared 10 months ago with no explanation and no hearing loss according to all the tests. I got scared and stopped attending to any loud...

Getting Pulsations in Right Ear When Lying Down

Hi everyone! Just noticed that when I lay on my right side before falling asleep, I can feel pulsations in my right ear. It is all according to how I move my neck, it comes and goes. My tinnitus never changes though, it is always a constant high pitched sound in both ears. Any thoughts why this...

Sudden Tinnitus Onset — Better Chances for a Cure?

Hey everyone! Just read an article where they said that people who experience a sudden onset of tinnitus have higher chances to be cured than people who got it gradually over time. Any thoughts on that? Mine not only that it appeared all of a sudden without prior noise exposure or any...

    Tinnitus Spike After Loud Music

Just like Lorenzo74, my T appeared all of a sudden and it came with mild tachycardia and action tremor, very strange symptoms. I was NOT exposed to any loud noises before the T appeared, not even weeks before. I did have a whiplash from a car accident 3 months before it appeared. So that would...

    Tinnitus Spike After Loud Music

48 hrs later my T seems to be back to the initial state, thank God !!!!! Will never make that mistake again not to wear ear plugs. This thing really changes your life. I never thought before of the necessity to wear ear plugs and now it seems they are really a must have if you go clubbing !

    Tinnitus Spike After Loud Music

Well I had no idea as before T I never had this issue. Also since I was tested and have no hearing loss, I don't understand why noise makes T worse, since my T is not noise induced ?

    Tinnitus Spike After Loud Music

Does this mean my ears are permanently irritated ? It certainly seems so since my T appeared. And I can feel both ears pulsating when exposed to loud noise. I was initially prescribed some cortisone drops to apply locally by the ENT. Would they be worth trying now ?

    Tinnitus Spike After Loud Music

I felt there was something wrong inside, but by the time I got outside my T was much much louder and my ear drums had that full sensation as well as irritated. 12 hours after that...

Help! Newly Acquired Tinnitus Among with Neuro Vegetative Symptoms

I will check my audiogram and let you know exactly, I believe it was somewhere in the 5khz region. I don't get panic attacks all the time, I just get them occasionally and lately I've been controlling myself not to go as far as an attack, just anxiety which is unpleasant. I have always been more...
