    The problem is: the normal hearing tests only go up to 8 kHz, while these online hearing tests that are responsible for a few people's tinnitus go all the way to 20 kHz, and these high frequencies are way more dangerous. I'm looking forward to hearing what your ENT has to say about this topic.

    I got the same issue. I listened to this exact hearing test, but it didn't cause issues for me. Then my brother let me try another, one that goes from 20 Hz to 20 kHz; 1 hour after I got tinnitus as well and it's now been going on for a few weeks. Did yours ever get better?
