I am a musical and film maker. I have played in bands most of my life particularly loud bands and wish I used hearing protection way more of the time because now I have fairly severe tinnitus that has been quite dynamic but I feel overall it has gotten worse. I am now at a point where I have put my music on hold and trying to get better. It's definitely not an easy thing to have in your head every single day. Sometimes it triggers depression and hopelessness for me as well as most people with the condition. I feel joining this site will be a good step in the right direction. It is a bit heartbreaking especially because I am a musician.
