    Decibel App on Apple Watch

The new Apple watch has a native decibel meter. I’m happy to see it will bring some conscience about hearing loss. No one told me back in the time! From what I’ve read on the web, the phone decibel meters are quite accurate. I carry one on my iPhone...

Waking Up at the Same Time Every Night!?!

I have the same experience. I wake up after 90 min. I used to worry silly about it, or start thinking about stuff for hours. Now I don’t engage in worrying thoughts and go back to sleep. Yes, I have T, it is a nuisance, but I still intend to sleep as much as I can. Meditating (with Headspace)...

    Acupuncture

I’m skeptic. Acupuncture has no physiological base and its efficacy has not been proven in any meta-study. 19 out of 30 cases were cured. It comes from China, specifically from a “Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine”.

If anyone is curious (I was!) a voice through a cochlear implant sounds like this. I read something elsewhere about researches trying to improve the quality of the sound. Not looking forward to have my brain drilled, but I wonder if this could restore hearing one day.

How Loud Is a Room Full of People Clapping?

Well, I would be dead already. Same as when I light a match and the sulfur ignites at 230C. Do I melt? nope. Clapping as hard as I could, the db meter in my phone registered 86db. Far from the Guinness world record, which is 113 dBA...

Does Your Tinnitus Change While Sleeping?

Indeed :) and I have read similar comments in this forum. The first time I heard T, I went through my room trying to locate the sound. When I finally found it... are you serious life?? I take consolation knowing that others are struggling in the same fight. @SomaticT I have bruxism and a mouth...
