  • Feels loud. Or maybe I'm just annoyed because I just spent 2k taking my car to the shop. Oh well.
I have been walking at least 8k steps every day for the past 10 days. Those of us who are lucky enough to be able-bodied: exercise can help.

I'm lucky to have a campus with lots of nature trails and forest routes. Getting up in the morning after breakfast and walking for a few hours has been great.

I aim for at least 12000 a day. I never have below 10000. I'm an avid walker though. :)

@Steph1710 that is amazing! I sprained my ankle in October so I'm still working back up to my full potential. I ended up hitting 16k today
I hope every single person on here has a good day today (or evening or night). You are all warriors. Better days will come.
Feeling weird today...I need to go for a long walk to feel normal nowadays

Going for walks in nature has been incredibly therapeutic for me. I don't hear my tinnitus outside and it's peaceful.

Yes me too, or it at least doesn't bother me outside. Its so nice
3rd episode of fleeting T in one day. Very odd for me.
    kuromi
The mechanisms behind fleeting T are so confusing.. I haven't had any episodes of it in awhile but it's always so strange when it happens.
    Jebbis
@kuromi yeah! I haven't had it in months and then 3 times in 1 day!
I think the rain gives me a spike.
    kuromi
I haven't experienced any spikes in response to noise personally, but from what I've read the reactivity and even spiking stabilises and gets less common with time. Hang in there, friend!

@kuromi thank you!!! I think it mightve been from me being cold and wet...maybe it made my muscles tense?
    kuromi
@Jebbis I'm sure either of those things are possible. I know it's hard, but try not to analyse any fluctuations you may have, sometimes these things can happen without any reason at all. =) For example, in the beginning my T would seem more prominent at different times randomly with no trigger, and even now, it's normally more noticable in the evenings even if I'm in my room all day.
Fleeting T in my normal T ear twice today. Not sure why. Gone after 20 seconds. Hmm. Like a sudden pop and crazy loud ringing that fade.
New info from us military on unidentified aerial phenomenon has been released. Craft that can go from 20k elevation to 80k in seconds.

If aliens know how to fix hearing loss and tinnitus, then someone take them to our leader.
I really did not know how to be grateful before tinnitus.
    kuromi
It's that naive moment where you stop and look at your life and think 'Hah, bad things could never happen to me.' They DO, and after this experience, I'm fucking grateful for what I have.
I wanna live next to a river. That would be so nice. My town has a river but I'm not close to it.
Good morning world. T is still right here with me, but my brain did an awesome thing and let me sleep for over 8 hours last night.
Slept well, woke up refreshed, even fell back asleep for a bit. Progress!!!! Now for a joint and a long walk with my boyfriend. Happy day.

There you go. That's the spirit. Enjoy the good days and build on them.
    Is there anybody out there?
    Steph1710
Just nod if you can hear me - is there anyone at home?

*I got what you meant. I actually sung your post, when I read it last night* ;)

Hey you, don't tell me there's no hope at all. Together we stand, divided we fall.

I am in such desperate need of friends who understand and a community. Covid has made this double difficult.
