  • If anything, my social anxiety is worse than my T. Would life be easier the other way around?

It would surely be more comfortable and to your taste as you're steering your life.

@victoria9273 definitely. I have a lot of things I need to work on, mostly mental and cognitive. T takes up only a fraction of everything I stress about, so I like to think my patience is as strong as ever.

Yes, experience makes a person wiser and stronger. It's a stimulant.
After nearly 3 months of trying to get one covered, I finally have an ENT appointment! Going in w/ no expectations.

Somehow, the orderly and cleanliness of clinics makes me feel comfortable and better. All sorts of beple along the way and people waiting, kids, etc.
T knows when to punish me for enjoying music too much.

Can't live without it. It's the only thing I enjoy and can control its quality to my ease at the same time. Enjoy as much as you can but with caution.
Tomorrow's my 4 months of having T. I notice it very often but I'm no longer emotionally invested in it. Hope u can one day feel the same.
Another day. Got the fan running, the computer droning, & my T shrieking with laughter at the futility of it all. \m/

My 7 years old computer gives off some sounds when playing games. It's time to have a new one and possibly, get some cooler on it.
Oh, I almost forgot about buying a mechanical keyboard. Mine will be brown switch and I wish it were tolerable. Much better than those clicky and nerve twitching blue ones.
Tip: don't fix your obnoxiously loud computer. Constant hard drive noise will annoy you enough to not mind your T noise as much. :D

It happened when I had a format with my computer. Crazy! I evacuated soon.
Who knew that recording guitar effects loudly through earphones would make my T worse? Well deserved!
3 months in and T hasn't changed I think. Always hoping that it doesn't get any louder. Others have it way worse.

Do you get days where it is more quiet? I am almost 3 months in to and get these days. Hope that it is a sign that im healing. Cross my fingers you will to :)

@TheDanishGirlKD I don't think so, though I've been minding it a bit less now as I can't remember life before this started anyways lol. I'll try and pay attention to how loud it is relative to other days now and leave an update about in the future. Wishing u quieter days ahead. :-)
    So loud now ....

    Hang in there John

John - you need to find a relaxation/meditation method that works for you.
I came up with a scenario that really does help me.
I can't say it will definitely work for you, but perhaps you might give it a try......
    (see my thread on Meditation)
    Very best wishes my friend,
    Jazzer
