Well, FX-322 only really touches the higher frequencies, so yes, that's where it works best, because that's the only place it could work. The only audiogram improvements in any of the trials were seen in a few patients at 8 kHz. I don't believe any of the extended high frequency audio testing...

Very interesting. Your hearing loss issues closely mirror my own. Moderate loss at 8 kHz and my ultra highs are pretty shot as well. Had the steroid shots a couple weeks back but it doesn't appear they've done much honestly. Still glad I had them done. Maybe I'll have some delayed improvement...

I've seen this image before but never looked that closely at the differences between regrowth re: inner and outer hair cells and at different frequencies. They treated the mouse cochlea in a more direct manner than your typical IT injection, right? Would that change the outcome for outer hair...

That's very interesting. Could you expand on this a bit? Did you notice no improvement for a while after the shot and then gradually noticed it coming back over a certain time frame?
