Susan Shore has been messing around with this for a quarter of a century. It is unlikely that it will ever be released, and if it is, the first version of the device will probably be far from effective.

Can Topical Voltaren Make Tinnitus Worse?

My tinnitus is related to neck and jaw issues, and I started using topical Voltaren for my stiff neck and the muscles in that area. Voltaren is a topical NSAID, and I was wondering if anyone has heard of it making someone’s tinnitus worse.

It would be nice if Dr. Shore could answer questions or sum up her three-decade experiment every so often. One thing for sure is that by the year 3000, tinnitus will no longer be an issue.

Can Biologic Injections (e.g., Stelara) Make Tinnitus Worse?

I've had tinnitus for 7 years now from neck and jaw issues. It's become better, but it feels like I have peaked it getting better. I got 3 skin issues 3 years ago after I got COVID-19. As we know, many people had issues after COVID-19 and skin issues is one of them. Although mild, I got...

I don't get it. Is Dr. Shore retiring? How is this beneficial to her device?

    Forward Head Posture and Tinnitus?

I've had tinnitus for 6 years now and my neck was so tight in the beginning. About 3 years ago I started doing extensive physical therapy which helped my tinnitus a little, but my neck is way less tight now and the range of motion is about 90% instead of 50%. I recently developed forward...

Yes, I'm in the same boat, I can turn my head and sometimes alter my tinnitus, but I can never do it with my main static noise. Just the secondary tinnitus noises I can sometimes alter by turning my head or yawning.

When I use marijuana, caffeine or alcohol, my tinnitus gets worse. I have good days too, with "non-annoying" tinnitus, up to 20 days a month. When I use the aforementioned, it must speed up my neurons which is why tinnitus happens, I guess. I'm wondering if Dr. Shore's device will help slow...

My Hyperacusis Is Cured & I Barely Have Tinnitus Anymore

Would mushrooms help people whose tinnitus was caused by neck and jaw issues?

So after looking at the scatter chart, green means they never got the treatment? What percentage got better and what percentage got worse? If your tinnitus got worse from the treatment, did it go back to base level after the treatment was stopped?

OK, so if Tinn Tester says my tinnitus is 60 dB and it gets reduced by 66%, my new tinnitus would then be 20 dB as measured by Tinn Tester, which is basically not even audible. This seems good to me.

First of all, how did they measure a 75% reduction in tinnitus? Secondly, my tinnitus is mostly reactive (goes up with TV, etc), is this device going to work for reactive tinnitus? I can hear my tinnitus everyday, although I would say it only bothers me about 12 days out of the month. The...

I don't understand how there could be a 50-75% loudness reduction, but only 15 points on TFI. Are you trying to say they should have started with a group of people with higher TFI? I think TFI is somewhat BS. Some days I will have a TFI score of 50 and some days it will be 15.
