I haven't gone under any anesthesia since I got my tinnitus, however, from what I know, the only one that poses risks is the spinal anesthesia. I read posts of people going under general anesthesia and they were fine, no tinnitus increase.

Yes, very lucky not to be able to afford something just a hat's throw away.

I appreciate the reply! That kind of money sure would be an issue in these times for a glimmer of improvement. Shame, I got so excited when I found out they specialise in tinnitus and they're so close to me.

An update: I called them. They don't cover anything with a medical card so I'd have to dish out a fair amount but I'm extremely skeptical from all the replies here.

So this thread seems quite old, but active. I live in Ireland myself, and there is a Lenire place fairly close to me... I was planning to go there, however, after reading many of these comments, I'm a little terrified, not going to lie. The few people that it did help I'm happy for, however...

Hey everyone, hope your day/night is going good. I was hoping for someone to give me advice on sleeping drugs, i always have trouble sleeping and tinnitus adds to it some nights. Is there any drugs that don't make you feel drowsy the next day? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Oh i see, yours seems worse than mine, i just can barely breathe trough my nose and feel a bit of pressure in the font on my face. Are you all okay now?

I used ear drops twice (sometimes 3 times if i remembered) a day for 10 days. I was only gonna do it for 5 days but i rather be safe than sorry, all went good, a little loud yeah..I was panicking but relaxed while it was beign done.

Why the sad face if they worked? Thought it'd be a relief, my nose has been blocked bad for the past few weeks too, I'm suspecting it's all connected :p

Yup, he used a camera in my ear after, no wax left.. I'm thinking of just going to an ENT specialist and let them have a look ^^
