Why Does My Tinnitus Calm Down in Silence?

I totally get how you are feeling as my tinnitus does exactly the same thing. Thankfully today is a low tinnitus day, but on the days that it is louder I find peace in a quiet room also. I wonder what this is all about? Does anybody have any answers? Miss Lavender.

    Tinnitus and Eye Antibiotics

Thank you everybody for your help, I thought that it may probably be safe but as we all know it is easy to get a little anxious when it comes to Tinnitus. @ Dr Nagler the name of the antibiotic is chloramphenicol. Miss lavender.

    Tinnitus Retraining Therapy

@walkthroughwalls I know you mean no harm in your response and thank you all,the same. But I think you have totally misunderstood the meaning behind my posts. If You Had The Choice?

@NiNyu, I am not trying anything at all I simply made a comment about your thread. If You Had The Choice?

I simply don't see the point of your thread. Tell me again how this helps us as a tinnitus community?

    If You Had The Choice?

I don't want to appear nasty or insensitive because I am neither of these things, but what is the point of your thread? People know how they feel about their tinnitus situation why do they care to share such information. Again this does not help anybody. Why not ask a more positive question that...

Will Going to the Beach or the Pool Make Tinnitus Worse?

Hi Rina, in my experience going to the beach actually improves my tinnitus. I am not sure if it's the relaxing environment or the sounds of the water and the birds but I feel peaceful at the beach and my tinnitus lowers. So I say go to the beach and have a great time.
