Tinnitus Gets Worse from Vasodilators (Any Supplement, Food or Drug Causing Vasodilation)

I have the same things you wrote. Finally, I found someone. The only thing that's different is that I reckon it's the pressure that causes it, but I don't know.

PROPHYflex vs. Guided Biofilm Therapy for Dental Cleaning — Safest Option for Tinnitus Sufferer?

Hello, I will have my teeth cleaned soon (for tartar removal). My dentist told me that guided biofilm therapy (which has an airflow part) is less loud and has less sharp sound than ultrasonic scaling. But afterwards I realized they also have something called PROPHYflex which emits calcium...

    Can Computers Spike Tinnitus?

Thanks. I am pretty sure it's my posture. I use a computer which is completely silent (solid state drive and no fans). I think it is connected to muscle tension in my neck and the consequent pressure. I have quite strong hyperacusis (I am doing sound therapy now) and somehow this also causes a...

What Is the Best Method to Make Progress and Increase Sounds?

Hi, I have severe hyperacusis. It was induced by overprotection. As it stands, it is causing many healths problems because of restricting from normal activities. I want to expose my ears to sounds so that it can get used to it. What do you think is the best option? How is the noise exposure...

    Treating Tinnitus with Silence?

No, but I have seen multiple people both here and on facebook who had problems with it, some had permanent worsening. As far as I can tell noise is a big stress for any audio system, it doesn't seem to be loud but it is a stress.

Vitamin Supplement (Nicotinamide Riboside) Successfully Prevents Noise-Induced Hearing Loss

I have been taking NR for the past month, 100mg/day. I think it makes a difference but it's not significant, at least not at this dose. In the next month I will be taking the same total amount but not evenly ditributed and see if that has a better effect. Others who are taking this, please post...

Vitamin Supplement (Nicotinamide Riboside) Successfully Prevents Noise-Induced Hearing Loss

I am really looking forward to this. Right now I have a fear of sounds and if NR would be confirmed to have the same effect on humans, my fears would go away. Since this works on a really low level I hope that it has a good chance to work the same as well, maybe the research team would be able...

Vitamin Supplement (Nicotinamide Riboside) Successfully Prevents Noise-Induced Hearing Loss

I was just going to post this, and yes, you are right. B3 supplements are not likely to contain any NR. Link to the same article on sciencedaily: www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/12/141202123840.htm
