What Is the Best Method to Make Progress and Increase Sounds?

Hi, I have severe hyperacusis. It was induced by overprotection.

As it stands, it is causing many healths problems because of restricting from normal activities.

I want to expose my ears to sounds so that it can get used to it. What do you think is the best option? How is the noise exposure best distributed (eg. continuous, daytime only or smaller periods)?

I have not much time to write.

I would love to hear of any related experience.

Have you tried tinnitus retraining therapy. try listing to white , pink noise or binaural beats. try recording the offending noise and play is back at a lower level. Think and for example, "oh, that just the refrigerator, it keep my food cold and safe to eat. its just background noise, and its hear to stay and that's good. anti-anxiety med can help while doing this. and slowly increase the volume over the days to its normal level. thinking all the time, that is my that just the refrigerator, it keeps my food cold and safe to eat, its just background noise ... wheat ever the noise. That's my AC compressor it keep me cool on comfortable .....
