    Aspartame & Decrease in Symptoms

since kicking it, I've read so much bad stuff about aspartame. i honestly believe in the next 10-20 years they're gonna be able to link it to tons of really nasty health issues. I'll never touch the stuff again... even if every symptom comes back.

    MRI Results In. Questions.

my doc doesn't think so, actually. I'm guessing mainly because i don't have vertigo. i should clarify, my T is still present though not as bad. the autophony and whooshing are gone.

    Aspartame & Decrease in Symptoms

I've got several posts on here talking about my symptoms but, briefly, regular tinnitus in both ears, pulsatile tinnitus (upon bending), ear drum thumping, high-frequency hearing loss and random autophony in my right ear. Carotid ultrasound was normal (in '15), MRI showed a large jugular bulb...

    Anxiously Awaiting the Results

great advice, @Mystery Reader. i'm going to do my best to heed that myself. @Phil K - I'm going through a lot of what you're going through right now. Testing... specialists... uncertainties. What-ifs and worst case scenario run through my head pretty much every second I'm awake. It's mentally...

    MRI Results In. Questions.

i (finally) spoke with my doctor. he doesn't think this is meniere's. he thinks the jugular bulb is causing the PT. as for the 5 mm abnormality, he thinks it's most likely an incidental finding but stated that he thinks a referral to neuro just to confirm is the right thing to do for peace of...

    MRI Results In. Questions.

I've spoken to my sister-in-law who's an RN and she thinks it sounds like i have Meniere's. I'm still waiting to hear from my doctor. I really like my ENT but I've gotta say I find it very unprofessional and even a bit unethical that I had access to my results before they could be explained...

    MRI Results In. Questions.

Hey - Here's the backstory for anyone that's interested: https://www.tinnitustalk.com/threads/asymmetric-right-sensorineural-hearing-loss.29746/ Anyway. My MRI results are in. I haven't been able to speak to my doctor yet (nice, right?) Here's the results for the MR IAC WO W CONTRAST...

    Should I Be Worried?

i have asymmetrical pulsatile tinnitus as well and am scheduled for an MRI with contrast next week. i'd stop short of saying mine comes and goes, but mine does wax and wane to the point where sometimes it's barely noticeable even when i do things that usually aggravate the heck out of it. i...

    Pulsating Fullness

i have fullness in my right ear that seems to come and go along with the sensation of hearing my voice in the same ear. that sensation goes hand in hand with the fullness and comes and goes as well. I have observed that it's usually only noticeable when i'm in tight quarters like cars or if i'm...

    Asymmetric Right Sensorineural Hearing Loss

    Asymmetric Right Sensorineural Hearing Loss

Ha! i actually AM left handed and do have a crash on the same side as my hi-hat. i should also add that I'm considered one of the loudest drummers in our region and at a show the other night, a concert player complimented me by telling me my snare drum sounded like a shotgun.

    Asymmetric Right Sensorineural Hearing Loss

the results are from last week. i was given a hearing test 3 years ago or so but never saw the results. was just told my hearing was "good for my age and what my hobby is."

    Asymmetric Right Sensorineural Hearing Loss

sorry about that! i mentioned it in the original thread i linked to. i am most definitely an acoustic drummer and have played in LOUD (think Black Sabbath) bands for 25 years. i also didn't start wearing any sort of hearing protection until around the time this started happening (to be...
