@cyberspace it's literally a new tone that appears in the night, it wakes me up and stays for a few minutes sometimes hours. Some of those tones have stayed with me, permanently.
Yeap! Quite regularly in the past few months. Also in the middle of the night, and that scares the shi* out of me and can't go back to sleep because of the new tone.
No, unfortunately I've never had any periods of no T since it started 7 years ago, for my it gets louder with certain movements. So I guess that's good news, you must have sine sort of somatic T that improved with movement
This condition is very random, it makes no sense and there is no explanation for some of the spikes. I try and try to unders6 what could I possibly have done to cause a certain spike. Nothing, I do nothing and I still make it worse. Hope it settles
That was me back in Sept. Out of the blue my right ear developed a high pitch morse code tone 24/7. It has settled now and it's only on the background and sometimes it's intrusive while sleeping, very random. Hope you get better
I've been taking magnesium for 2 years. Has done nothing good or bad to my T and H, but I still take it before bed . They say it's good... But who knows
@Mo8409 I only have a mild hearing loss in my r. Ear. But its not causing me any issues, my hearing is good. My T started really really mild in 2015 just in my left ear, and has been getting worse progressively. Now I have H and very loud T in both ears
I'm working on that too for my H, doing more things at home Without protection. Some days a better than others but in general, I feel exhausted from this illness.
@Strawberryblonde I don't really get any improvements as such, I just keep habituating to louder and louder tones and when I am mentally more stable and accepting my T it becomes worse again. So I'm at a point now where it's just a huge pile of new tones that keep stacking up. And the H does not...
