Hi everyone...I have had tinnitus since 1994, when diagnosed with Meniere's Syndrome. The first clue was partial loss of hearing in one ear and a fax machine sound in both ears. One episode of vertigo diagnosed Meniere's. The worst part of this condition is tinnitus, as it is with me constantly. It lessens sometimes but lately it's come back with a vengence & caused me to search you out. So glad to interact with someone who knows what it's like. And from what I'm reading, I now know it's worsened into pulsatile tinnitus. Yuk. While vertigo has been under control for a while, tinnitus seems to be getting worse. Three years ago I finally got hearing aids in both ears, as hearing gradually worsened. Just went back to the audiologist and needed adjusting, as can't hear over the sound of my heartbeat. I now have lost equal hearing in both ears, and I'm not that old! Finding it hard to get through life but and thankful for this website.
