I've good and bad news for all of you. There will be a real cure for T but not in the realm of your current lifespan. Why, because the majority of T people having a hard time hearing it. It's so quiet, if they don't look for it, they eventually get *used to* it. And those having a cruel time, all the time, are so small in numbers nobody cares nor takes them seriously.
Bottom line, the cure will hit the market in 2510. And yes, time travel will be discovered long before solving T. I know, that says a lot; and it's the only reason why I can write you now. And no, I am not allowed to disclose future knowledge for it would only alter the timeline. But one hint: unconsciousness.
One more thing, sound therapy makes matter actually much worse. Oh, and if psychology (placebo) works for you, essentially someone telling you not to worry and to relax and not to listen to it, you ultimately know exactly to what group you belong.
Just remember, the only good thing about T is: if you don't have it, you don't have to worry about it nor does anybody else.
