In that experiment, they used a 1:1 CBD/THC ratio. THC must be taken out of the picture to evaluate CBD's possible effects on tinnitus.

I can only speak for myself: THC does make my tinnitus worse. CBD does the same, but to a lesser degree, depending I suppose has to how much you take. In every case, thing do calm down, usually a week, at worst.
