I don't know about notched audio therapy. How do I go about trying this? Is it an app?

Some people do get better and some people don't.

My doctor flat out refused to consider this option for me - said there wasn't enough evidence. So in effect keep on suffering.

Are you able to link what you are taking - sleep is a big problem for me.

I know where you're coming from. I've just come off two days of misery and it's semi reasonable today. I know during the night tonight it's going to ramp up for another 2 days of torture. And the cycle goes on and on.

And mine also - always reset by sleep. Mine follows a distinct pattern. 1 to 2 days of tinnitus at a manageable level followed by 2 to 3 days of severe tinnitus and the drop or increase always takes place when I am sleeping or trying to sleep as I wake 3 to 4 times a night.

I pray this is the answer we are all looking for this horrific condition.

I've had tinnitus for 3 and a half years. No improvement. It's almost certainly worse.

The first week was a revelation taking this. Now 3 weeks in and my tinnitus pattern is back to normal. So it hasn't helped me.

I suffer from my tinnitus fluctuating wildly during sleep - go to bed and it's manageable, about a 2, only to find it has risen to a 9 when I awake. Hi @billie48, since a permanent spike just over 3 years ago I have a very intrusive tinnitus in my right ear. There was a period earlier last year when I would have 2 days really bad then 2 days manageable and so on - now I'm not even getting the 2 good days. Anyway for the period I suffered...

It's how Glenn Shweitzer apparently habituated to his tinnitus (see 5 mins in) I believe Dr Bruce Hubbard used this approach also
