  • Did you ever have any bad side effects from wisdom teeth removal in terms of T? Was your T noise induced?
    rdz
No I didn't have bad side effects from my wisdom teeth removal but the machine they used let out a high pitched sound. I'm not sure if my tinnitus was noise induced but I did use headphones alot but not on very high levels, maybe it is noise induced. I try not to worry about what caused it.

Thanks for the reply. Interesting you mentioned a machine, what was it used for in relation to wisdom removal?
    rdz
Yes, not sure what exactly for but I believe it was a drill, I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed and it was a loud but it wasn't used for very long periods, I was nervous that it will make my tinnitus worse but nothing change for me.
About to be 7 months in with tinnitus, no improvement or worsening. I think this might be permanent.

    I hope it's not.
Having difficulty sleeping again. Tinnitus doesn't seem louder but I'm just very annoyed by it.
I'm still bleeding from wisdom tooth extraction. Has anyone bleed for more than a week from wisdom teeth removal?

    Yes,mine took forever to heal
Well my ringing sound came back to what it was before. I feel horrible again. I really hope it goes back down to a hissing sound.

Its a roller coaster ride, hold on tight... hope it settles for you quickly.
Do you only have T in one ear?
    rdz
No it's on both of them. Right now the sound changed to a lower hissing sound. Not sure if it's an improvement
Just got back from removing all 4 of my wisdom teeth. So far no change on T

did they drill at all or were they already grown in to pull out
    rdz
They did drill just the bottom ones though. The top ones were just pulled.
I'm getting all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed on Wednesday. Really nervous.

Shouldn't be painful if your dentist successfully pulls them out. I was conscious during this procedure then afterward felt mild pain. I consistently gargled my mouth with morton salt.

For some people, wisdom teeth is a cause of there T, let us know how it goes

My wisdom tooth removal didn't affect my T at all - but, if there's one thing T is teaching us, it's that everybody is different! However, the dentist drill did aggravate my T for a day or so, then it settled right back down. Best of luck :D
