CrystalB, If you have time, read my thread in success stories section. I had ETD, I got rid of it, and the tinnitus as well. I suggest you to read all the pages as there is a lot of information. BTW, the nasal spray would do the job as long as you use it correcly. As per my ENT doctor's advice...

My sinus related (ETD) tinnitus went away after 5 and a half months. Most such csases resolve after some monthes. Stay possitive and resume your favorite activities as soon as you feel better.

I visited 3 ENTs after the onset. The last one was great but non of them told me "learn to live with it".

Hi Jcb, I had it for five and a half months.

I do resistance training, cardio and boxing ( not professionally, just to stay in fit).I don't have tinnitus anymore but I did train even when I had tinnitus for a period of six months excluding the first two months after the onset.

ETD caused by ear wax impaction.

Agreed. I had ETD. I cleared up my tubes, the tinnitus gradually subsided and eventually went away after 5 and a half months.
