I'm still dealing with this tinnitus battle, which we all know can be challenging at times. However, I'm doing my best not to let it stop me from living a fulfilling life. As Cameron Hanes says, "We must endure."

I, too, need to go back to the dentist for a cleaning and filling, as I have not been since getting tinnitus. I can't avoid it for the rest of my life, so I guess we will just have to see what happens. And it seems that wearing hearing protection does not really help due to bone conduction.

I have been taking Finasteride again for about seven months or so, and it has had no effect on my tinnitus.

I also work out 4 days a week, and have worked out for about 15 years. I stopped taking pre-workout supplements years ago, none of that stuff is really FDA regulated. In general, I would say stay away from it; you honestly do not need it for a good workout.

I heard a theory from an audiologist sometime back; he thought hearing aids were still important for people with tinnitus and hearing loss, but not enough hearing loss to need hearing aids. The theory is that the hearing aids will help to still possibly stimulate neurons which may be important...

The medical research indicates steroids only work immediately after the event, within the first two weeks ideally. I got on steroids the 3rd day after my acoustic trauma event and had zero improvement from the steroids.
