  • It's so sad that the idea of playing classical or jazz instead of rock or country is out of the question.
Every day I'm forced to choose between torturing my ADD with no entertainment and possibly damaging my ears with headphones.
Offices should have the same rules as libraries. No talking, no music. To think otherwise is crazy.

@sirhand I agree that one shouldnt force others to listen to their music. I would never play music at my office desk if my co workers had something against it. Lucky for me, they don't .

If I could use headphones I would. But I have noise induced T and it is advised that one does not use them, even at low volume when you have noise induced T, because it can make the T worse. So I only have the option of listening to music through speakers now.

Mine was a head injury and jaw, so I kept using my headphones. Never bothered it. Even after the T went crazy I still use them. I quit for about 4 months because I thought the new loudness and spikes were due to them.

Makes no difference. Even the few quieter T periods I was using headphones. I just do like I always do and never listen to them too loud. I have a certain level that I never let them go over.
person in my office: "Can we listen to music?"

me (thinking): "You can listen to music whenever you want, just don't make me listen to it."
If a tree doesn't fall in the forest, and a tinnitus sufferer is there to hear it, do they hear the silence?
Yesterday I was convinced it was getting worse. But today might be the best it's ever been. I'm not complaining, but wtf
I feel like a million bucks... trampling me but somehow I never die.

Hey I've read these pages, just wondering how things are now?
    sirhand
@Norma411@ Ringing is still ever present but Tinnitus thoughts continue to be less and less. Never thought this would happen but I've gone full days without thinking about it.
