And then there’s things like this. I feel like I can’t win either way.

Sound Enrichment and White Noise Generators

I spoke with an audiologist today and found out I can get a pair of Widex Zen maskers covered completely through my insurance. I have no idea what to do. My ringing often worsens with external sounds and makes it difficult to mask. I don’t know if these things are going to help or hurt me. I...

Worried the timeframe here is going to push me into the arms of Lenire.

New University of Michigan Tinnitus Discovery — Signal Timing

I just re-read the Q&A with Dr. Shore. I took a second detailed read to realize how little information we got on the distribution progress and process. This is worse than waiting for the trial results to be published. After five years of tinnitus I finally had to break down and start an...

Yeah, I don’t understand the cloak and dagger behavior around the FDA stuff and the Auricle internal process for product launch. I know little about the process, but it makes me think there’s some unknown hurdle here I’m not seeing. Would love to be a fly on the wall at Auricle HQ.

Is there a legitimate concern this device never leaves the lab shelf? It’s come this far. I can’t imagine my disappointment if this dies before hitting the public.

    Tinnitus and Buspar? Please Help!

Not sure if you’re still around, but did you ever take the Buspar? I’m considering it myself.

Thank you for breaking this down. I assume the Auricle team would at least carry some of these processes forward while the FDA does their thing? I understand they probably wouldn’t make a large order or train distributors without approval, but at least know where that order would be sent? My...

I’ll add this too. I took actuate for three months back in the mid 90’s. It didn’t give me tinnitus, but I absolutely wasn’t warned it could have. I was just jokingly told not to get pregnant on it. I’m a man so that wasn’t even an issue.

@SarahMLFlemmer Don’t underestimate habituation. I wasn’t cured, but it was darn close. Was living a totally normal life outside avoiding loud environments. Wouldn’t hear it for long periods. Could turn off like a switch when I did hear it. Hoping I have strength to get back there again. Not...

@SarahMLFlemmer I did. Took 18 months to see progress. At 3 years it was really good. Lasted for two years and lost it. Now back where I started in 2018. Not taking it well. I think Covid possibly played a role.

We have different causes, but my first habituation improvement wasn’t remotely notable until 18 months. Took 3 years to perfect. It’s gone for now. Give it time.
