    Any Online Game Players?

No but I will definitely check it out. I absolutely love the game (PS4). From the original on the MegaDrive onwards. I find it distracting but also can be negative on my tinnitus if I get too much into the competitive side :) - I just wish they could sort the servers out, fingers crossed for 20.

    Any Online Game Players?

I stopped at 18, button lag and too many issues caused by EA being too cheap to have quality servers. Although I still love the game. Kind of replaced it with Rocket League. Quality avatar, watched Joy Division documentary last week.

Tinnitus Masking: MP3s, CDs, YouTube, Other Audio

Yes they're mine, really pleased to hear that they help. I keep meaning to make more bell sounds, I'll gladly tailor something for you if you have requests for what sort of sounds you want to hear mixed?

New Dilemma: Now Having Trouble Masking My Tinnitus with Sound Enrichment

Thanks. I've been working on other music projects but I do plan to put some more music ands sounds up there for tinnitus, plus I have some other tinnitus audio stuff in the pipe line that should launch in a few months at most. I've also got a selection of sounds up on streaming services...

New Dilemma: Now Having Trouble Masking My Tinnitus with Sound Enrichment

I still love the neuromodulator, Stephane at MyNoise made something amazing from that simple sequence. @Jen10 I just uploaded a couple of new sequences, both 1hr long, have a listen and see if either helps you. If so I can send you the sound files. If not maybe I can make you something if you...

    MuteButton

There was broadband noise in the selection that I listened to, across the spectrum (though I didn't get to test how far up there). They didn't calibrate it to my hearing. My understanding is that it is calibrated to your hearing profile, so people should hear the higher frequency sounds. Of...

    Exercise and Somatic Tinnitus

Always start light and easy after a layoff, don't try and do too much as the strain will likely make your tinnitus louder. May be worth trying something dynamic like Pilates to stretch things out, as long as you don't overdo it. I also have increases with stretching in certain ways, but I...

Tinnitus Masking: MP3s, CDs, YouTube, Other Audio

Hi, I don't have anything firm on the listening times, but what I do say is no longer than 1 hour at any time and not for more than 4 hours per day. Listening for too long to noises like this seems to get in your brain. there is also the issue that over-listening to anything (for me)...

I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

No, it spiked me which is enough to know that it isn't good for my ears. I play a lot with audio so I am familiar with what I can and can't listen to. A river noise isn't necessarily across the spectrum. I do audio recording and when you analyse the sound files you'd be surprised at the lack...

I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

Headphones. As an experiment listen to a rain or water sound through the night instead that has energy across the audible spectrum and see if that also has similar results, ideally something that mixes and changes over time. I imagine that it may well do, but I am willing to be wrong :)

I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

Against my better judgement I downloaded the sound file and listened. For me it was horrible, it spiked my tinnitus really loudly. It's now screaming away. Nothing works for everyone of course. In my opinion you are playing noise all across the audible spectrum, which is showing the brain...

Tinnitus Masking: MP3s, CDs, YouTube, Other Audio

That's one of my videos. It's an experiment. It may help or it may not, just try it out and see what happens. That's the thing with tinnitus, there isn't anything at all that we can say works, it's a case of if it works for you then it works. I always say that you have to experiment and...

Tinnitus Sufferers at Risk of Isolation Say Charities | 5 News

Just reading through and it makes me think that maybe we should produce a video as something that news outlets can use. I think we need to do some myth busting and get some facts out there, on the common misconceptions and things that can do harm (mainly from a community perspective). Wouldn't...

Tinnitus Sufferers at Risk of Isolation Say Charities | 5 News

I got the call Sunday night to say the correspondent was going to another story, instead of me on Monday morning. They did say that they wanted to come back to it at some point so hopefully that happens. I am unfortunately well aware that no matter what I say or how I put the message across, I...

Q&A: Tinnitus Hub Meets Neuromod (Lenire)

Chances are it will help but I have often thought that even if you get the hearing loss sorted out (and it is the main issue) you may still need to give tinnitus a bit of a nudge to get it out of the brain.
