  • School exams (movie) are now over. I wonder how I did... I did all the tests so quickly compared to others :D
I can hear almost 17khz with my headphones on. But i cannot hear 13,5khz well at all.
    Ivkopivko
That's great result. I'm allright accross all spectre but at 15.3xx, It cuts off or I need to increase the volume much to hear above
    Strife_84
@Ivkopivko I have to turn up volume too to hear that high.
I can hear crickets again... I was watching tv and I heard the crickets in one scene. so happy *small tear*
T is slightly getting better. Noticed that car break screeching does not sound that bad anymore. There is hope ^_^
My left ear is in much better condition than my right. Left has almost no H left.
    COYS
Likewise! My right is the worst one
Turned up volume bit too high when I tested my hearing, felt bad. But I heard up to 16khz!
    COYS
I think 16khz is pretty good for your age. I'm 30 and can hear 16khz on my right and 15khz in my left
    Sevv
@COYS: exactly the same for me! Hearing is fine, guess there must be some nerve damage that causes the T.
    COYS
@Sevv it must be why I get the pain that I get too
If I'd win millions on lottery, I would donate a lot for tinnitus research. And not just some gizmos you put on your head.
Silent day, loud day, silent day, loud day... Why? I was sitting on my chair and suddely T got much louder.
    Bill Bauer
How long did that spike last? Minutes or hours?
    Strife_84
@Bill Bauer I wouldn't call it a spike. Suddenly my T just got louder while sitting in chair. But it wasn't spike.
    Bill Bauer
Sounds like it was fleeting T (that had lasted for less than a minute). It might be your body trying to recalibrate and heal itself.
Why computer fans make my ears go crazy? They are very low volume. I have one of the most silent fans available. Noctua.
    another sean
I have Noctua's as well, even the latest revisions, but still spike my t.
    Strife_84
@another sean Yeah I changed my cpu cooler to noctua and took 2 noisy fans out from my computer. Still it's hard for me to sit near computer.

I put my Mac in my closet and my gaming PC in another room and use long cables.
Small pleasures feel like heaven these days. Things I never enjoyed that much before T. Like chocolate yogurt. It's heaven in my mouth.
    TheDanishGirl
Food is a major pleasure to me now. Well.....it also were before T., but even more so now. Food = life
Listened 10 minutes with headphones. Not even loud and I my ears feel strange again and T is louder. Blah.
    GSC
    Oh no. Why.
    Strife_84
@GSC I had to check if my 2 tracks are ready to be sent for labels so i don't send the wrong files or so. I listened at very low volume. I need to get some music released.
Went to barber without plugs. Ears feel bit uncomfy but I'll live.
    Jack Straw
Plugs wouldn't do much if he used a hair trimmer. If the trimmer hits your ear, it makes a really loud collision effect happen.
    OnceUponaTime
Try hairdryer on 24" long hair...hahaha, Nope!
After getting T I could barely hear to 12khz. Now I can already hear to 14khz. It's getting better.
    Agrajag364
That's awesome. Did you use one of those online hearing test things? Usually they don't test that high in audiologists offices
    Strife_84
@Agrajag364 I just had a tone generator in my phone. But maybe I should have not done it, my T is louder again...
