@Strawberryblonde feeling okay after I took some Motrin! These body aches and headaches are so crazy!! I'm surprised I don't have an increase to my tinnitus .. I was so scared about that lmao getting in lots of fluids ! Thanks for asking :))
    Sammy0225

    Sydney13
@Sammy0225 thank you so much! finally starting to feel better after almost a week :))
Who else sees those crazy slap contests and just cringes?!?? 100% they have ear damage lmao like no way ppl can do that and not?!
    Sydney13
@Sammy0225 lmaoooo man the one I've been seeing everywhere is the dude whose face was already so damn swollen and after he gets slapped he holds his brain LMAO likeeee I laughed a little too hard seeing that. Bunch's dummies
    ZFire
They're not even slapping eachother. They are literally punching eachother in the face with open hand strikes. I know the video you're referring to @Sydney13 . Dude will likely suffer potential brain damages (concussion) down the road.
    Sydney13
@ZFire definitely brain damage :( sad. not sure why people would want to put themselves thru that
start my crochet class on Thursday! Who wants to see my bad(ass) baby blanket when I'm done? Lol I have classes for 10 weeks :')

I started with beanies until I (and everybody else) was sick of them. Then I moved on to socks and bigger pieces and it's only been recently that I've started to experiment with cables. It's a fun hobby but it can test your patience at times :)
    Sydney13
@Leila haha can I have one?! (Totally kidding) that all sounds so cool though! I definitely need some more hobbies in my life! Trying to find some quiet ones so I can relax my mind and soul rn
I have a brain MRI scheduled next month unrelated to sound sensitivity. I'm nervous! Any suggestions ?
    Sydney13
    Tom Cnyc
don't expect much. its highly unlikely you have anything that shows up on MRI, however its good to check. If they DO find something, keep calm also. a family member has had an acoustic neuroma for years. they're not life threatening.

DEFINITELY BRING FOAM EARPLUGS. The protection they give you is pure garbage.
    Sydney13
@Tom Cnyc thank u for ur comment :) appreciate your help!!
Whew, migraines and sound sensitivity do not mix.
    sakrt
My neurologists classified it as phonophobia
    Sydney13
@sakrt ah, really? I've had migraines for years before this but I feel like sound sensitivity and photophobia plus all the stress makes it wayyyyyyyy worse for me lol D:
had my first pottery class today and it was sooooo therapeutic. super quiet, and I made a bunch of bowls :').
He's ALSO a musician and used to play drums back in the day with no hearing protection. What the actual fuck. Lucky dude

I was talking to my brother about tinnitus the other day. he has it in both ears! He can always hear it too!
Was able to go out today to do some shopping! Went to grab my mom a gift for her bday, and then went for a walk in the park! It was lovely:)
hyperacusis and tinnitus the past two and a half months has been so hard I feel so mentally exhausted/drained. would love some support<3
    Sydney13
@Ben Winders thank you so much for your comment, makes me feel less alone when there are other people out there going thru this same battle! Appreciate you xx
    Lorca
Hey Sydney, I just wanted to tell you that this will get better with time, when I first experienced tinnitus and Hyperaracusis following my accident, it broke me like nothing else. I could barely walk on a busy street, wash dishes, drive my car without a panic attack. One year on and I'm back to business, only using earplugs sometimes at the cinema and at the rare music show.
    Sydney13
Thank you sooo much @Lorca for such a nice and thoughtful message. It truly means a lot and I'm so glad that after a year you're feeling so much better. I'm only a few months in and it has been such a rollercoaster of emotions! What did you in the meantime to keep sane? Lol it's been so hard to do anything!
