  • I see adds on tv, in the paper and on the internet stating they can cure tinnitus, when in fact they can't do squat. LIARSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
Happiness was being with my grandchildren as they played and jumped on gramps. Those happy days are long gone thanks to Tinnitus!

Well, count yourself lucky you got so far without this shit being a major issue. I am in the 40s. I doubt I will live to see grand children. And there many young folks around here.

It will get better. I got my tinnitus and other ear issues when my son was 5 weeks old. I still can play with him even though he's much louder now at 18 months. Don't let the tinnitus win!
and when the cheaper benzo's stop lowering my T, I will beg for the highest benzo out there > Valium.
I would rather be a benzodiazepines addict than having to listen to tinnitus until the benzo's stop lowering the T in my F'n head.
After reading many disheartening responses about Lenire, I quit. Nothing helps my T except for benzodiazepines. Case closed.

Sad. But we went to the moon, right? What a joke. With time, it will get better. How far are you in since onset?
    TomK
We went to the moon and have nothing to work on tinnitus and it's suicidal tendencies, or major depression it causes.
It's all about the rich, we who are not rich can buzz off. Ask them.
I am going crazy from the tinnitus I live with daily and with that I am seriously thinking about hitting a psych ward.

There is no shame if you do, others have taken this route.
There is nothing out there, well there is if you have $4,000 laying around, to lower the sound of Tinnitus, I don't have 4 grand.
@TomK I see you were absent for a number of years and came back recently.

Did you have a sudden increase in T? Do you know what caused it?
    RunningMan
That's good that you have something to chill the noise if needed. I just have to endure it until I go into a less intense part of my tinnitus cycle. No benzos here, just zolpidem, which I'm certainly glad to have.
    TomK
I never came back from anything. I'm new and am like you people, I hate Tinnitus.
    Jupiterman
Forgive me if I have misunderstood the dates.

You joined forum in April 2018.

You posted nothing between 13th April 2019 and 29th April 2023.

That's what led me to ask the about your (four year) absence.
It's benzo's or tinnitus for me. I choose addiction to benzo's. I'd rather be f'd up on pills than having to listen to tinnitus.
    BrysonKingMe
    Be very, very careful.

There is nothing out there, well there is if you have $4,000 laying around, to lower the sound of Tinnitus. I don't have 4 grand stashed in the wall so I will do what's best for me at the time > take benzodiazepines so I lower the T and I don't off myself because of the horrendous noise.
Maybe a wealthy fairy will grant us all a Lenire product to keep.
3am wide awake because of high pitched Tinnitus in my left ear. I am getting back on the benzodiazepines ASAP. 1 of the 2 will kill me.
Tinnitus spikes make me crazy and bring on the suicidal ideations, and many T sufferers have offed themselves due to this.
Carnival down the street for the of July weekend one block from my house. I hibernate in my basement during these very noisy times.
When the cars going down the hiway are louder than my Tinnitus, I'm in "Tinnitus Misery Land."
Hissssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss all day. Hisssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss all night.
Hissing, whooshing, whistles and whatever else T does to the brain, I have it. First off my left ear has very bad hearing....
Last night, foghorns and ambulance sirens blaring in my head. It sure as hell seemed like it. I've slept 2 whole hours in the past two days.
Tornado sirens were blaring all night in my head, and it really drives me to the dark side which is where I don't want to be.
It's the 14th of June 2023 and I just got out of bed from one of my worst nights in my Tinnitus history. No sleep at all.
    RunningMan
Bad night for me, too. Again. Only 2 1/2 to 3 hours of sleep each of the last two nights, and that's only after taking zolpidem in the middle of the night to finally sleep a little.
Woke up at 1:30 am from loud hissing. I eventually fell back asleep at around 4am. Back up at 6am. Living with T is a terrible nightmare.
    SarahMLFlemmer
    It is. =(
    Marshall
It happens all the time. Doesn't mean anything.. The more it happens the less anxious you'll be. I just ignore it and go right back to bed even when it's screaming in my brain. Always better in the morning.
My tinnitus woke me up once again at 3am. O boy!
    RunningMan
I'm usually up around 3AM every night from tinnitus and can't get back to sleep without sleep medication. Unfortunately, I'm also woken up various times before and after, usually before I need to get up as well. I never get a solid night's sleep anymore, and average 4 to 5 hours. 16 months I've been dealing with that.
I wrote about cannabis lowering the hissing in my brain and I forgot to say that the cannabis is "Indica" which is very potent.
