My doctor prescribed me Tianeptine (Stablon) and Xanax today, and I'm unsure to try it becuase I've already had a bad experience with an anti-depressant, Lexapro. Apparently it's an anti-depressant that reduces serotonin levels (which is the opposite of SSRI)...

Unless you have some kind of physical injury, hearing loss, or some other disease, it's hard to acutally prove that you have tinnitus because otherwise it's just in your head. Sadly in most cases, MRI, CT scans, EEG tests show nothing.
