I have two tones going in my head ATM. One is a constant high-pitched beep, and the other is more of a high screech that mildly fluctuates. But no, unfortunately both are always active from the moment I wake up until I go to sleep. No mercy.

Alper, could you do an update on your status? Has the T gone down to normal levels (before taking intratympanic injections) or any lower? My ENT is persuading me to try intratympanic because he says it's likely to be more effective than oral or intravenous, but I'm being very skeptical.

My doctor prescribed me Tianeptine (Stablon) and Xanax today, and I'm unsure to try it becuase I've already had a bad experience with an anti-depressant, Lexapro.
Apparently it's an anti-depressant that reduces serotonin levels (which is the opposite of SSRI)...
Unless you have some kind of physical injury, hearing loss, or some other disease, it's hard to acutally prove that you have tinnitus because otherwise it's just in your head. Sadly in most cases, MRI, CT scans, EEG tests show nothing.

It's a long story of bizzare symptoms to how I ended up with tinnitus and the doctors don't seem to have a clue of what is causing them...
