this is very interesting. you'd think, if autifony wanted to be really sure, they would have a longer period trial, i mean the general feel has been that these potassium channel openers should be given time to work. so, considering the millions autifony/glaxo have at stake here, i would surmise...

this is interesting and good news regarding autifony trial firstly its a SHORT 4 week trial, not something dragging for months secondly they expect 000063 to work quite fast, not months like some thought thirdly it gives us a better idea on how to dose retigabine once we know the trial dosage...

i also hope to be starting retigabine soon. wouldn't it be wonderful if somebody with chronic tinnitus was cured by retigabine. it could happen, maybe it already is happening.

it is a long thread with vital info scattered, so why not pin a notice at the beginning with dosage info and studies to show doctors plus link to progress reports

@Christian locoyeti's given you some great advice, don't give up on the retigabine too early, especially if it was starting to work, many drugs take time to work, there's still hope

Okay we've got a whopping 52 page Retigabine thread. Well done everybody Can anyone COMMENT on the general result of the online trial? From a glance, it seems good no matter what caused the tinnitus. Anybody doing it in the UK ?

We feel for you too steve, thank you for the kind words, all i can say cos its all i know is that were uk residents and she went thru assessments and various paperwork, she was so bad she wasn't even requested to be seen at an official building its uk govt stuff, youre entitled to the same fair...

she groans in pain from morning to night, can hardly walk, talk, sleep, eat, housebound 19 months, 3 s attempts, last time i checked, she was crying. beautiful children need their beautiful mother back, legally tested means it's legit. trust me friend, there's tinnitus and then there's tinnitus...
