  • How are you these days? Old now post of yours said you were improving 2 years after. It's another 2-3 years now.

Still improving from severe t onset just over 5 years ago. I can sleep better now at least. The tone isn't nearly as harsh as it was. Loud days are still fairly loud. Quiet days are like heaven. I can ignore it for hours sometimes no matter the loudness if I'm distracted.

@KMc24 Are you still working the same job, or was the noise too much?

Would be useful to know this as you have been on the forum for many years.

No problem if you'd rather not say.
Hey Kevin, did you take anything for sleep, depression?
    KMc24
I took trazadone then switched to sertraline. The trazadone really knocked me out at first but then I became tolerant. Didn't like the effects of either of them, to be honest.
    Hey Kevin,

    How's your pattern going?
I'm in a similar pattern due to a second acoustic trauma in January. I'm seeing some progress on my bad days, but was curious to see how you're doing now.

    Thanks!
Hi Kevin! I have been experiencing intermittent t, like yourself for about six months. Have you seen any improvement recently?
    KMc24
Nothing new as of late. Kind of stuck right now. My improvements come like every 6-8 months. My last improvement was a couple months ago. I've had t now for about 26 months.

How is yours now? Mine follows a pattern if one day on, one day off since the beginning. Kinda given up that there will be any improvement after 6 months...take care!
    continuation...

But it seems there ist no influence on it besides the sleep. I wake up in the morning and I have to take it.
You wrote in your last post, that there is an improvement. The good days are more often.
What is with the frequency? Is it also lower?
and what did you do for it? still waiting? :)
    Thanks for answering.

My tinnitus follows the same pattern as yours. Although I believe it's improving the changes are slow and almost imperceptible. I take lots of supplements and exercise regularly. I'm a teacher so I have the next 2 months off. I'm hoping the reduction in noise and stress from school has a positive impact. There's no telling what can happen with tinnitus. Its all a waiting game.
    Hello,
I am Matea from Germany and I have read some posts of you. I could find myself in your experiences. I have a high pitched Tinnitus since 7 months caused in stress and it follows a special pattern. 1 day loud in the head (this is the worst case), 1 day middle or loud but in the ears, 1 day quiet in the background. The last one is that I could easily live with.
