hello, was just wondering if you have any experience with gabapentin? did it make your tinnitus worse, or have no affect? thanks!Been a while, where have you been?
How's it going Strawberry?The sound i usually hear in my right ear when lying down sounded like it was coming from outside and above my ear last night, very strange.If i could turn back time.........My T seemed more in my ears than my head last night. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing???Bad few days. Reactivity?? making all sorts of noises over my masking noises. High pitch hiss in head when sleeping. Flares up randomly
@Strawberryblonde Hey, how are your sound distortions these days?Currently battling through a lovely cold. On the plus side my left ear screaming makes it feel/sound like I've got no T in my right ear!
Reminder to self, dont use Tiger balm for TMJ. Made TMJ better but spiked Tinnitus last night and caused a panic attack from hell.Slept pretty well last night, think the wine played a part in that though. Alcoholism it isDunno what was worse last night the heatwave cooking me alive in bed or the ringing driving me insane. Spoilt for choice aren't ILeft ear reactivity is back with a vengeance. Morse code beeping stopping me from a full sleep. I was doing ok too! This is a load of shite!My absolute favourite song has just come on the radio
the wanting to turn it up and blast it is soo hard not too! Better not eh! 
I'm gonna refrain from saying I'm OK as the opposite seems to happen. Gonna start saying I feel like shit and see if I start to feel great!Logged back on to see how everyone is doing? I'm doing OK, T up and down as is my mood lol life is normal, plugs in loud places and sleep OK

Is your tinnitus somatic, Strawberry?When I can't hear my tinnitus or im tuned out of it then why does my brain go into frantic search mode looking for it. Is there any need!!Insomnia is kicking me these past few days. So tired but can't get full sleep only broken sleep. Sure helps the tinnitus level >:-(Middle of the night EEEE spike in head. Who doesn't love some of that >:-(Currently looking like blue steel while I try to perfect my jaw exercises for TMJD. Glad I'm the only one left at workCant tell if its my anxiety doing its usually thing with T on top or it's my T giving me anxiety. It's like I can't even tell now.Nothing quite like a flushing toilet beeping away at you to remind you your hearing is fucked up somewhere!!
@Strawberryblonde just know I know exactly what you mean when u said u used music as a distraction instead of dealing with your issues. ironicly 4 me is that everything was going great and then BAM.it kills me daily 2 know all we had to do was break our headphones n relax. thats literally it. that said no way does that warrant this punishment. Im pretty sure serial killers dont go through this much of torment.
