That sounds like a good plan Luchia. It's generally best to start slow and build up from there. The added bonus from exercise is that it gives you a dopamine & serotonin boost, which definitely helps against anxiety.
Was it a different test compared with the normal ? I am still tempting to ask for a hearing test, I had one by the ENT last week but it was only with the gehoordrempels. This was very good they said last week. It helped you ?
Sorry for sending you that list, Luchia. I see that it's perhaps a bit outdated, as I just discovered that Quetiapine is mentioned on another list for ototoxic meds (though not for hearing loss & tinnitus, but a minor probability for dizziness & vertigo). You can find it here: https://theentcc.com/ototoxic-drugs/
It's a different test. The normal one focuses on 250 Hz. - 8000 Hz., the extended hearing test is based on 125 Hz. - 12.000 Hz. I went for the latter, because I wanted to know if I had hearing loss in the higher hearing frequencies.
Food and supplements? Well, I am vegan so I only eat plant-based food and I combine it with some supplements to cover those areas that one could potentially have a deficiency of by not eating meat, such as vitamin B12, D, Iron, etc.
But what makes it difficult for you to have a good or healthy meal?
Generally, it helps a person's wellbeing by eating and living healthy. Understandably, this sounds quite tone deaf in regards to your situation, but take it from me that diet & lifestyle changes (exercise, meditation, socially outgoing, etc.) slowly but surely can pull someone out of a rough situation that one might consider bleak and hopeless.
It's just that I don't have the energy, I know that I need help with it. It's also the things right before T became on the way it's now. It feels like i'm in a loop
You don't have it easy and I think that most people will have a lack of energy when they're confronted by these issues like you are. I hope that the people at your GGZ will find a way to help you feel better. This in turn may help give you the energy to make a step towards a more healthy or better diet and lifestyle.
You never had the idea that it was bothering you ? The little bit hearing loss ? I have a little bit loss like -15 DB on 8 KHZ my left ear and -10 DB on 8 KHZ in my right ear, They said when they look overall I only have 2 DB loss and not more.
Well yeah, when I got hit by hearing loss in 2020, I was really bothered by the new (read: terrible) perception of music and background noises. It took some time before some sounds became more ''fuller'' (if you know what I mean), but at the same time it was also a matter of becoming more used to new auditory perceptions.
To be honest, I am now far less concerned by the more hollow bass sounds than before. To me, this feels like normal again and it's like I've never had hearing loss in the first place. I guess that's what they call habituation.
Looking at the description of your hearing, I'd say you have a nice set of healthy ears. I can imagine you don't feel that way, and that's in many ways completely understandable. Many TTers here have been through that process as well. For some, their hearing became better over time. For others, well, their hearing loss became less of a nuisance as they slowly became accustomed to the new situation.
It really feels like I have some hearing loss, I also did that frequency thing on the internet. Like how old is your hearing and scored like bad. I had the hearing of a 50 year old..
