    Sorry to read of your 11/10 case. I have RT/H with multiple tones too.

    Have you considered musicians earplugs to reduce external sound level? Perhaps that would that help dampen your RT/H and help you get back into work?

    I use Musician earplugs at work. Makes a huge difference

    I react to everything so there's no way I can wear any earplugs for this condition. I've tried disposable musician ear plugs & might decide to get custom but that's just for times i decide to play music instrument or go to see a band. There really isn't anything one can do with reactive tinnitus & Hyperacusis but to avoid intolerable level of sounds.

    It's something the medical community doesn't understand, same with audiologists who only believe in sound therapy which I do but it's for masking & sleeping. It doesn't improve the condition like my audiologist likes to believe. There's still a lot of quackery beliefs that audiologists hold so they can sell BTE sound maskers which I have.
