I have like a tensed feeling in my ears and around my ears.. will it go away?
    NYCGuy
@sakrt It can be reattached and saw many that happening when doing it with blade instead of using a laser. Santos only uses laser.
    NYCGuy
@Flowergirl I totally understand, please don't drink, you don't want to bring more harm your way. I suffer from tinnitus but had other health issues now and is hell to be honest.
Are you okay? Your Mood Badge is quite... frightened.
    NYCGuy
Not well, I keep getting worse in my entire general health and having more things and is difficult. Is just an agony
    NYCGuy
    Thank you got asking
    Flowergirl
I'm asking too. You've been a strong person to me. I felt you have my back.
Hi, how is your TTTS now? Do you suffer from neck pain and stiffness? Has anything helped your symptoms? Thanks
    NYCGuy
Not doing good, yes suffer from severe neck and TMJ issues for 2 years. Doing nucca and PT so neck a little bit better but not great
Thank you so much for responding. So is ttts and mem the same thing? Have you ever been to a chiropractor? I went to one and he found sublaxation in my back which he believes causing the sound in my ear and gerd too.. Your positive comment that it will get better in time gives me hope. You are a wonderful person. Thank you really.
    Kjforever
I had 4 sessions of chiropractic care and will be doing for the next few months. So far, I can say that it improved my tinnitus, I only get like one or 2 thumps after burping. , but I noticed that I get ticking sound like that of a clock when laying down not sure if its because of my neck and spine is in the process of aligning. Sorry for my english but thought id give some update. Hopefully you are all well!!
    NYCGuy
So happy for you @Kjforever , you did regular chiropractor or type like upper cervical one?
    Kjforever
Hello, can I ask you about the people with MEM you talked to who got better? Did they do something like exercise more? Did some of them get surgery? My MEM comes and goes (for now) but I would feel a lot less anxious during episodes if I knew I could cut the muscles. hope you're doing well, have a good day!
    NYCGuy
Some people do nothing and after time goes away. Other do magnesium and COQ10, other do potassium or vitamin B.
Some many different causes it seems and surgery needs to be done for sure with laser to be successful. Even with surgery few still have the vibrations and end doing medications as Cymbalta
Hello. Do you get pulsatile tinnitus when you burp?
    NYCGuy
I just started 15 days ago, so I can't be much help. I still suffer from MEM and is driving me crazy. Two days ago I had an episodes for 6 hours straight. Not getting better but worse for me at least @Kjforever
    NYCGuy
There is still hope, I talk to a lot of people and they get better with time as other don't and get surgery etc @Kjforever
    NYCGuy
I have TTTS is thumps, I do have pulsatile tinnitus for over a year but that's totally different. I have Pulsatile Tinnitus, regular Tinnitus and now MEM/TTTS that's like ear vibrating and thumping after yawn, burp or stretch @Kjforever
    Good week everyone's!
    in_LA
How was your Monday ? I called out for Tues and Wednesday, I've been a nervous wreck lately.
    NYCGuy
Hanging in there, I need to continue with work I can't have days off, my struggle is a night because my TTTS happens while I sleep mostly and during the day is not that bad @in_LA I hope the 2 days off helps, try to do something fun.
Last night ear vibrations, the MEM/TTTS didn't stop for a second, was not able to sleep. This new symptom is killing me.
    makeyourownluck
What about TMJ/neck massage? Relaxing the muscles around the ear may help a little, and even if it doesn't, it feels nice.
    NYCGuy
Doing that, plus NUCCA and PT @makeyourownluck feel better but I have very severe neck and tmj issues
    makeyourownluck
I see @NYCGuy, no doubt you know how these things go by now.

Your anxiety will be increasing muscle tension. Try break the cycle somehow. Easier said than done I know. Do anything you find relaxing/distracting.

Really hope it calms down soon.
I have a friend in NY who's knowledgeable want me to ask him about neurologist in NY or do you need a Neurotologist?? He knows alot. Anything to help bro
    NYCGuy
That can be great. I think mine is cause by TMJ for sure @Mal25 I hope we get better soon
My ears are totally damage and never went to concert or loud environment. For sure is stress and TMJ but no idea what else to do.
But today is on both ear and feel like a Morse code none stop, vibration is less but I can hear it on both ears now.
I have weird ear vibration, first 4 nights was like butterflies in my ear that I can feel and hear.
I be looking at them fake pressed percs like now I know if I took 4 of them and drank a lot of promethazine and threw in a couple hydrocodone I'd get outta here for good. But would it hurt is the question? And then heaven can I still go
    NYCGuy
Please try everything possible, there are so many things to try to help us out. We have to keep fighting and not give up.
    MaxRabbit
Agree. Of course its hard but everyday is closer to healing, a treatment or the cure. You aren't alone..no matter how bad it is - we all understand the hard battle you are in. Keep trying to figure out how to keep staying alive!
Hi NY. I'm lazy to read up. Can I ask what some of that 30K went to for treatment? I'm sorry youre here too. Life was never meant to be like this. Support and hugs from the other coast.
    NYCGuy
Many expensive doctors, MRI, CT Scans, I went to Neurologist, TMJ specialist, several ENT, Pain doctor, Neck Pain, did NUCCA, Physical Therapy etc
    T
Didn't your insurance pay for these? Why not?
I ask my self 200 times, why we deserved this? Why there is no help? I spend over 30K and got zero answers or help at all.
4 days I started with my right ear vibrating, but is not a sound but most like a physical type of vibration, I LITERALLY LOOSING MY MIND
I start with Pulsatile Tinnitus right ear, then high pitch loud on the left, then morse code on the right plus PT and dealing for a year
    NYCGuy
@Steph1710 Those I can live with, I think somehow I got used it to it but the new vibrations on my good ear is driving me crazy.
    Steph1710
@NYCGuy ah yes, the ol' vibrations. Don't worry, I have that too. Weird to think before 2018 I had no ear problems whatsoever. Those little bastards are buggered now. Seriously, life is a lil bitch. Hopefully you'll get used to the vibrations too.
    NYCGuy
@Steph1710 how you described vibration? I can't find what is destroying my ears and I have so many issues and this last one the vibration is putting me on the edge.
I enjoyed the time here and got to know great people, I hope you all get better with time and the miracle happens.
Time for me to say goodbye to the forum after OTO-313. Lost all hope and I think this is now forever and there won't be a cure.
    Leila
I'm sorry your suffering has reached a point where it is overshadowing everything you've once considered worth living for. The other commenters are right, of course there is hope and of course there is a chance of improvement, but the tinnitus hell you're forced to live with is an unbelievable challenge as well - all day, every day -
    Leila
and only you can decide whether this is just a temporary low or if you have truly reached your limits. I don't have to tell you to think this through carefully because I'm sure you already have. Whatever you decide I wish you all the courage in the world because one decision is as hard as the other, all the best!
    J
OTO-313 WORKED,perhaps the study was defective, even so it is not a regenerative medicine, it is not regenerative, there are regenerative medicines, just around the corner, let,s not lose hope.
Had very closed contact with somebody with Covid, now I'm scared as hell.
    blamingeverything
I've managed to avoid it thus far but I know it's inevitable.
    ZFire
    How are you feeling ?
    Flowergirl
I know 3 people with it right now. 1 has a headache 1 has what feels like a cold. The other is on the rebound. I think if u had shots it's not as severe. Don't be scared you are already tough as h*ll.
You've ever been to Cheesequake state park NJ? Great hiking spot
    ZFire
Hey @NYCGuy Went to high point yesterday. Its the best park I've been to thus far. I made to the high point monument and wow the view is gorgeous. Thanks for letting me know about this park.
    NYCGuy
I'm so happy you enjoyed it @ZFire. I went few backs to green lake in upstate NY and WOW, IS BEAUTIFUL. The same with finger lake and Onedia lake, great fishing.
    ZFire
Yeah i saw the picture. Wow had no idea NY waters could be that blue.
Hey, i know that we share quite a few symptoms. Just wondering what you tried for your jaw issues?
    NYCGuy
@RachLouise Seems my first message got deleted, I mentioned I did NUCCA and PT and vitamins, diets, etc but so far nothing has help me on the T. Nucca and PT did help with my TMJ and Neck pains.
    RachLouise
Sorry if I'm not seeing your previous comments, I'm useless at this site. Did you try an occlusal splint?
    NYCGuy
@RachLouise just saw your last message. I didn't, I don't know if will help.
Yo, did you hear that really loud thunderstrike early this morning? Holy crap, I panicked. It shook the whole city. I have family in NJ and they told me they felt its impact too. Lighting struck atop the One World Trade Center. And I'm all the way uptown. I'm okay so far.
