  • Yo broski you might not read this because you said you were taking a break of this forum but if you do i wish you the best. Sending you much love brother and the strenght to go through this ordeal.
If anybody has any good ENT in NY,NJ or CT please let me know or send me a DM, struggling a lot and need help.
    S
Unfortunately thats seems to be it with ENTs. Unless its something they can actually fix then its pretty much "live with it"
    EternalRinging
I feel you, I've been into several ENT's in the DFW area and apart from sending me home with nothing, what's even more frustrating is that instead of them admitting that they don't know nothing about tinnitus, some of them invent theories regarding the cause of my tinnitus.

I hope you're hanging in ok. If thc was legal here I would use it. But I don't want to smoke.wonder what the odds are of messing up your lungs vs living with tinnitus?
All the best people, God bless you all and lets keep fighting and going forward, is the only option we have.

Bro I will also take again a break, last break did good for me. Positivity is the key. Come back with a success story.
    Flowergirl
I take months or weeks off from here regularly. I'll admit I jump on when I'm struggling also if I've heard anything hopeful. Looking on the research page just now seems no news lately.
I hope to come back in a few months with a success story but I doubt it, 18 months with T and keep getting worse after covid in December.
    ErikaS
@NYCGuy got worse after covid virus ?? Have you looked into the doctors that are specifically working with long haul covid sufferers? Tinnitus is definitely on that list, spiked proteins from the virus and/or shot can not only bring tinnitus on, but make existing tinnitus diabolical.
Due to my mental condition, I need to habituate any way possible so is time to go offline totally from this forum and others places.
The problem I saw all type of doctor no idea what else to do, I even pay 5K for TMJ splint etc

As such, a private company was established (Auricle, Inc.), with the objective of obtaining regulatory clearance to commercialize the treatment. Note that we are not making any estimates or predictions currently concerning the timing and schedule of commercialization. The company is responsible for these efforts, and it is working diligently to make this a reality.

The the beep start like cutting off and disappear, seems my tmj and neck issues is still cause of my issues
Weird,I have bew tinnitus time of beep loud different from my high pitch that I habituate. I press my two muscles of my neck
    Flowergirl
Recently had one physical therapy session re neck pain. She showed me to massage my neck muscles. Unfortuneatly doesn't help T .
New tones keep coming on and back to square 0, may be the end for me. I try and gods know how much I did try.
    MindOverMatter
@NYCGuy Quite often we tend to think that we are back to "square one". Usually that isn't the case. Think of it as a bump in the road. This process is such a non-linear one... Look for that silver lining.

@Sammy0225 I remember when someone was hammering one day in my teens or before that I believe and my ear would jump/vibrate to the sound in my left ear. I assumed that what ears did with loud noises so it didn't worry me, I was always to scared to Google anything about
it being the hypochondriac I am lol
    Flowergirl
You express what I feel seems like on a regular basis, like I'll have a couple good days & think maybe it's done then it kicks back on, reminds me of menopause getting a bad hot flash & I'd forget I'd get another one shortly but well I did so that really sucked but it did get over with. I wish tinnitus ran for awhile but you know it's going to end at some point but not years more like a year.
is like my tinnitus goes 50 louder for a while, I cry like a baby because I'm scared this will stay because is so loud, can hear over shower
    Sammy0225
Mine did this randomly last night for two hours was scared as shit
does anyone had this before? Is like high piercing loud tone for 30 seconds or so, but my ear doesn't go deaf
    twa
Yes, I have this. It will go louder and sometimes alternates ears and then will stop. I think several of us have this.
    NYCGuy
It nevers stays right? Is like same static tinnitus I have but get 20 times louder, very different from the regular fleeping tinnitus we all have @twa
    brixenbrixen
    Yes I have this
New symptom, on my good ear I get a high pitch loud pitching beep, but not the regular fleeing tinnitus that you go deaf and hear a beep
Sometimes when you are in a dark place, you think you been buried but actually you been planted.
If Susan Shore theory works, then I can image they can work around her finding to do treatments with pills etc.
Anybody weird ear felling, like a single thump or move of the ear now and then after certain sounds?
    ErikaS
Yes I have this randomly in my left ear! I've had it since summer, even before my T started! I think stress and messing with my ears with ETD too much caused it. It has gotten better, only randomly happens and very inconsistent. I've read it's very stressed linked, and to cut out stimulants like caffeine.
    Sammy0225
I experience this from time to time I can only think it's some form of my ttts contracting the inner ear muscle in the form of a thump or flutter
15 months and keep getting worse
    Ondine
Hang in there, we're all here for you.

You worked hard to get to where you are at. No giving up brother when you're feeling low come here and we will pick you up I Also have ttts ear spasms in my case. Anything heavier then a feather falling makes my ears spasm it's horrible I'm fighting it still everyday
Covid made my Tinnitus go up from 4 to an 9, then my MEM/TTTS return, what a hell. And is my birthday, I hate life.
I just found out the news wow, i used to see his post all the time, didnt know he was popular outside of this website. wow. had two kids, loved sports, a wife, famous dad and bam. just goes to show how messed up this is.
    NYCGuy
Yes, good guy and always positive towards the rest even he was not doing well.
    Flowergirl
Idk who u are referring to but it makes me so sad. But for the grace of G'd there go I.
What's going on? Are you ok? You are going to get through this phase. Idk if it's allowed for me to advocate taking meds but I just read research is leaning towards Klonopin (clonazepam) it makes people sleepy but friend has clinical anxiety & he takes it, it helps.
    NYCGuy
Thank you so much, I'm hanging in there is just seeing good people passing away is not easy and people dealing with the same things I'm dealing.
    Flowergirl
Relieved @NYCGuy. Was worrying about you.
Is time for me to move from tinnitus places, seeing people passing away due to this ears issues Is really affecting me in the worst way.
    KoolKat
if you guys dont mind me asking who passed on? were they from this site and suffered like us?
    CW Dragon
I only know of Joe Battam's Thread (Rest in Silence Joe), but we don't have a subforum for opposite of Success Stories so we don't really know if someone all of a sudden stops posting about why. Probably a good thing tho
    NYCGuy
@KoolKat correct, is a well know user of the this forum. Great guy.
when i see your name i want to cry. it hits home so much. i wanna go back so badly but this curse
has kept me from that. all my friends have moved on and here i am stuck in the past. i see your mood and i totally relate. had it for years. all ima say is look into OTC hearing aids 4 right now and be out on the look out for susan shore. we got this.
    NYCGuy
I had high hope for OTO 313 and hit me hard but I still have hope to something comes out to help us out. My biggest issue at the moment is MEM/TTTS
    NYCGuy
