One Ear Clogged — It Caused Tinnitus and Now Returns: Is This TTTS or TMJ?

This is exactly how my T started. and this is exactly the same for me. But my T is in my right ear only, the same side that I can reflex the muscle. how is your T now? @Nav J

Poll: Does Valsalva Maneuver Make Your Tinnitus Disappear Temporarily?

@Celina Of course I am fully aware of it. But just like nasal rinse/neti-pot, which has significantly helped/reduced some people's T (took me a long time to finally decide to give it a try, and it helped me to reduce my T), please see...

AudiSpray Reduced the Volume of My Tinnitus Significantly

@Ramòn My tinnitus is only one tone, like the endless piiiiiii. How about your tinnitus? Also, is there anything wrong with your nose/sinus? My tinnitus started after I caught a cold, and my Eustachian tubes were swollen. I developed nonallergic rhinitis at the time my tinnitus came, so I...

AudiSpray Reduced the Volume of My Tinnitus Significantly

@Ramòn Also I notice that if I yawn involuntarily when I am really tired, tinnitus is so much louder in my ear. Does this happen to you also?

AudiSpray Reduced the Volume of My Tinnitus Significantly

@Contrast Don’t be so ignorant, I explained it already. Now I completely understand why so many people on this forum ignore you. For your information, of course I know AudiSpray is an ear hygiene product, I tried AudiSpray first to remove wax in my ear, not to reduce T. Then I realised that when...

The Valsalva Maneuver Substantially Lowers My Tinnitus

@Lurius I am sorry but I can’t help think about it..what would performing Valsalva manoeuvre (a gentle one) do to your T now, I wonder?

AudiSpray Reduced the Volume of My Tinnitus Significantly

@Ramòn For the crackling/clicking sounds when swallowing, I also suspected Tonic tensor tympani syndrome at first, but since using a Neti-pot got rid of them all, I guess they are more related to Eustachian tube dysfunction then...like you said, in tinnitus, you never know..

The Valsalva Maneuver Substantially Lowers My Tinnitus

@Poseidon65 Also, I noticed that several people on this forum can make their tinnitus disappear temporarily when having their tinnitus ear/s full of liquid/oil so that their ear drums are submerged (again, myself included). Does this also work for you? Has this got something to do with pressure...

AudiSpray Reduced the Volume of My Tinnitus Significantly

@Ramòn 3 years already?! I guess my tinnitus won’t just resolve on its own then. I noticed that the cause of your tinnitus is “unknown”, I wonder if you also had crackling/clicking sounds in your ear? I have recently tried the Neti-Pot which lowered my tinnitus significantly and got rid of the...

The Valsalva Maneuver Substantially Lowers My Tinnitus

Same for me and for other people on this forum, such as @Marton and @JayM. I suspect this is an indication for ETD related tinnitus. I just started a poll for this, please see: Poll: Does Valsalva Maneuver Make Your Tinnitus Disappear Temporarily?

Poll: Does Valsalva Maneuver Make Your Tinnitus Disappear Temporarily?

I noticed that several people on Tinnitus Talk can make their tinnitus disappear temporarily when they do the Valsalva manoeuvre (myself included). I wonder is this a sign only for sinus/ETD related tinnitus? As this could perhaps change the pressure in the ear which was causing the tinnitus...

Tinnitus for a Month, Ear Infection Two Weeks Ago, Possible Eustachian Tube Dysfunction

@Nothisispatrick consider trying the Neti-pot, it has helped me with ETD symptoms (e.g. crackling and clicking sounds) and tinnitus, see this thread https://www.tinnitustalk.com/threads/neti-pot-for-eustachian-tube.16333/#post-458981

Finally My Turn, After 7 Months — Not Habituation, But Tinnitus Is (Almost) Gone

@JayM my T is almost gone but not 100%, I can still hear it in a completely silent room. The volume is definitely much lower and not intrusive as before. If there is any sound, e.g., me walking or breathing through my nose, then I don’t hear the T. But as the T is not 100% gone, I’m still trying...

Finally My Turn, After 7 Months — Not Habituation, But Tinnitus Is (Almost) Gone

@MikeAMFM sorry, I have no experience of using the Navage, so can’t comment on that. But I read that nasal rinse bottles work just as well/even better than the Neti-pot, so I ordered one to see if I can get rid of the remaining tinnitus.

Finally My Turn, After 7 Months — Not Habituation, But Tinnitus Is (Almost) Gone

@JayM yes, my ears (more so for the tinnitus ear) would crack/click every time when I swallow saliva or water, or when I yawn or try to move some muscles in my tinnitus ear. Now all this is resolved by the Neti-pot. My good ear (the one without tinnitus) also wouldn’t pop/would take longer to...

Finally My Turn, After 7 Months — Not Habituation, But Tinnitus Is (Almost) Gone

@JayM No, I did not feel that some mucus was stuck in my nose. I see that you suspect your tinnitus might be related to ETD, so if you gently do the Valsalva manoeuvre (pinch your nose and blow air into your ears), would your tinnitus disappear? I suspect this is a sign for ETD related tinnitus...

Finally My Turn, After 7 Months — Not Habituation, But Tinnitus Is (Almost) Gone

@JayM The crackling noise went away immediately, then it came back a week later to my tinnitus ear after I attended a video conference with “crackling sounds” due to poor internet connection. I then used the Neti-pot immediately once the conference ended, and the crackling sound went away again...

AudiSpray Reduced the Volume of My Tinnitus Significantly

I wonder if this works for anyone else and I wonder why this is the case? When having ear full of (wax cleaning) liquid, if I lie down/lean my head against my other shoulder so that the liquid touches my ear drum completely, the ringing stops/decreases to a minimum level so that I can't hear...

Ear Cleaning Liquid Makes My Tinnitus Stop?

I've had tinnitus in my right ear for 7 months now after a cold. Just thought about trying AudiSpray and instantly it reduced the volume of my tinnitus from 3-4/10 to 0.5-1/10. Tinnitus for Almost 4 Months After Cold

Hello @E. B., I have had exactly the same symptoms after a cold (tinnitus, rhinitis and ear fullness) for 4 months as you do, how are you now? I have been prescribed with the same allergic nasal sprays with no help...What kinds of treatments have you gone through? Is everywhere better now?
