The instant pain hasn't changed at all I believe. The delayed pain has become better but I must note I was taking GABA in combo with Amitriptyline so I'm not sure if the the combo made the delayed effect slightly better or just Gabapentin..

I had the surgery 6 weeks ago. So far no improvement but I remain optimistic that maybe it's still too early. Maybe the new tissue still needs time to scar and connect with the windows and stapes.

@PeteJ I'm having similar issues like you. This is some trigeminal irritability. I have constant burning pain in my both ears. Sometimes the pain can spread to the neck, head, cheek and etc.
