Question for the Ladies from a Man That Suffers from Tinnitus?

Tinnitus causes stress, and when a person is stressed out the other mate will find them less attractive since it is a sign of lack of health.

Found a Set of Supplements That Reduced Tinnitus by More Than 70%

Yes the pillow with a hole is a solution. Mr. Case I want to ask you a few questions regarding tinnitus. My tinnitus was caused by repeat noise exposure over the course of 8 months. I was test for hearing loss by a audiologist and I have no hearing loss. I have had hypercusis at some points in...

Found a Set of Supplements That Reduced Tinnitus by More Than 70%

It is well known that listening to sound therapy during sleep is beneficial for tinnitus because it enhances neuroplasticity in the brain. I am only skeptical that your noise is more beneficial than other types of sound therapy such as brown noise. You recommend listening to your sound therapy...

Ring Relief Tablets — Works or Not?

That is an accurate statement, except that does not correctly depict Ring Relief by TRP which is homeopathic medicine. Homeopathic medicine works by causing the sickness that one has, so in the case of tinnitus Ring Relief contains ingredients known to cause ringing except in micro amounts.

Ring Relief Tablets — Works or Not?

After trying Lipoflavonoid and getting no improvement in tinnitus whatsoever I decided to try another supplement called Ring Relief Tablets by TRP. The product is a homeopathic medication that works by micro-diluting substances known to cause ringing. After trying Ring Relief Tablets I can now...

How to Cope? — Loud Tinnitus & Not Sure How Much More I Can Take

Many members here gave you great advice and you have much reason to be hopeful that your tinnitus will improve within 2 years time. Try getting sleeping pills from a psychiatrist to knock you out so you can sleep in the meantime. There are other people on this forum that have suffered for over...

Found a Set of Supplements That Reduced Tinnitus by More Than 70%

My money says your sound therapy results are skewed by a placebo effect since in most cases tinnitus improves over time regardless of any lack of initiative to seek treatment. Brown noise is all your therapy is, there is nothing special about your therapy and people are better off with a proven...

How to Cope? — Loud Tinnitus & Not Sure How Much More I Can Take

You have only had tinnitus since February 2019. It may get better over time as many members on Tinnitus Talk have reported improvement within 2 years, just make sure not to over-expose yourself to noise again. I am going through the same thing as you with miserable piercing tinnitus except I had...

    Can Hyperacusis Make Tinnitus Worse?

I don't think hyperacusis makes tinnitus worse by itself. However if a person is overly sensitive to sound and is exposed to sounds which they are sensitive, then these sounds can make their tinnitus spike. That's my experience at least.

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

I had a hearing test by a audiologist which showed I don't have hearing loss. My tinnitus was likely caused by over-exposure to noise. Will I still be able to use this device when it comes out?

    Tinnitus without Hearing Loss

I did not have head trauma. I don't know why I got tinnitus but it is possibly from over-exposure to noise. Assuming the reason for my tinnitus is repeat over-exposures to noise, but that I don't have much hearing loss even in the higher frequencies, what are the chances of my tinnitus going away?
  16. R

    Tinnitus without Hearing Loss

You know I specifically asked the audiologist if she could test at a higher frequency than 8000 Hz because I knew Contrast would post this article again but unfortunately my audiologist doesn't have those capabilities.

    Tinnitus without Hearing Loss

OK point taken. But do you know, since I performed so well on a 8000 Hz hearing test, chances are I don't have much hearing loss if any in other frequencies and probably either very little or no nerve damage/hidden hearing loss. Isn't it logical that for those whose hearing loss is very mild...

    Tinnitus without Hearing Loss

No the audiologist said my hearing test not only shows no hearing loss but that my results are above average. The audiologist says it is important not to stress out over the tinnitus as that is the only way it will go away. That I have to do something in order not be bothered by it as much.

It sounds like your tinnitus improved since it is no longer as sharp. Your conflicting statement that "in some respects it gotten worse even though my reactiom to it has improved" is bewildering. Why Do They Always Say That There's a Big Chance for Tinnitus to Go Away in the First Months?

That's smart, tinnitus and hearing loss are closely linked, but that's because the reason for tinnitus is probably hearing loss resulting from over-exposure to noise within a short time, and people with hearing loss that occurred over a very long term period of time did not have this...

Why Do They Always Say That There's a Big Chance for Tinnitus to Go Away in the First Months?
