My hearing loss occurs between 250 Hz and 1000 Hz. I've remained hopeful. I'm so sad knowing this may not even be an option for me.

I dip down to 30 dB at 250 Hz, 45 dB at 500 Hz, and 35 dB at 1000 Hz. The rest of my audiogram is normalish.

So I have mild to moderate low frequency hearing loss. I'm worried FX-322 may only benefit people with high frequency loss.

I've had it for about a year and a half. I try and be outside as much as possible, and, when I'm inside I try and keep a fan on or something at all times.

This is EXACTLY what happened to me.

Unfortunately I am still struggling but I have moderate hearing loss from it. Hopefully if you don't have hearing loss yours will return to baseline. Low pitched tinnitus isn't fun. I'm hoping one day there will be a cure.

I had 3 injections 7 days apart. They honestly did nothing. I went to about 4 or 5 doctors in a 30 day period begging to get them. I did get my first one until 35 days after my tinnitus started which is pretty much out of the treatment window for them to even be effective.

I've never noticed a difference in my tinnitus from either of them. In fact alcohol is the only thing that takes the edge off. It doesn't make my tinnitus any quieter, it just makes me not give a shit. Sometimes it helps me to forget about it even if it's just for a minute or two.

You would most likely need to go to a neurotologist. I've been to two in the Chicago land area. I went to Andrew Fishman in Wheaton as well as Robert Batista in Hinsdale. I was not a canadite for surgery, but maybe they could help you

I can sometimes mask it with white noise, but it needs to be pretty loud. My tinnitus is very similar to white noise and is more of a lower pitch. A fan is really the only thing that can almost completely mask it

Get prednisone ASAP. I wasn't able to get it until 10 days after my injury and it was too late. You should get prescribed a 80 or at least 60mg taper dose

Here is a copy of my audiogram. The tinnitus I am experiencing almost sounds like white noise w/a little ringing that seems to be in the lower to mid frequencies. Its pretty loud, but not has high pitch as what some people describe.
