Struggling to Cope with Tinnitus and Hyperacusis — All Connected to My Digestive Issues

Gabapentin made my tinnitus much worse after only one dose so I stopped. I tried increasing Flunarizine but did not see much difference. I also tried to increase Pregabaline but higher doses makes you very very tired during the day. Now I am in the process of trying to swap Pregabaline for...

I am currently on Ajovy (Fremanezumab), which is similar to Rimegepant, but injections instead of oral tablets, and it is cheaper In the beginning I thought it did not help but I can now see the difference. Hearing Loss and Severe Tinnitus — From Loving Life to Suicidal in 2 Months

Hi @DeepakB, I am a CBT therapist and something that I learnt in my consultations is that there are situations that will make you feel miserable no matter what, and having severe and reactive tinnitus is one of them. You cannot think positive when you have a catastrophic situation. You cannot...

Hearing Loss and Severe Tinnitus — From Loving Life to Suicidal in 2 Months

Easier said than done. 1. It is easy for someone who has never had severe tinnitus 24/7 to say that it is just a fucking noise. It is not, it is torture. 2. Most people's tinnitus worsens by taking antidepressants. 3. I can not ignore spikes as they are hell. Again easier said than done. 4...

    Suicidal

I know that we think differently and that is fine, but I think it is wrong that you place your moral judgment on others who are suffering a lot and might have a different set of values, especially in this thread. It is a moral judgment because there is not any rule or law saying that your...

    Suicidal

This is not the point. Telling someone who wants to terminate their life because of too much suffering 'do not do it because of children will suffer' will make them feel guilty for doing something that is actually compassionate. This is why it is manipulative. Euthanasia should be a human right...
