Noise-Induced Tinnitus Recovery After 2 Years (Not Habituation)

I first heard tinnitus in late August of 2015. It was weird, but I was just thinking about it one day when I came across an instance of some musician having tinnitus. And I wondered what that would be like. And then all of a sudden I could hear it. You can imagine that this freaked me out a lot...

Okay I think I'm understand your confusion. And by that I mean, hearing loss as the result of an event...

    Am I Obsessing About Tinnitus?

One could probably argue that you are obsessed, but definitely not crazy. You are responding to a situation that is objectively shitty and made even more frustrating by the fact that it feels like we are the only ones who give a shit. (Thb that's probably actually true.) Anyway, WE like your...

Vitreous liquefying and collagen fibers clumping together or pieces of gel breaking off. Data Used for Tinnitus Stats

I was wondering about the nature of the T stats we all like to use. Tte "5-20" percent of people suffer from tinnitus ones. Does this mean chronic tinnitus? Will It Go Away? Help Me Out. I'm 19. Spontaneous Ringing in My Ears. :'(

Does it seem quieter? I would tentatively say that going from ringing to static is a good sign, but you never know with T. Unfortunately, no one here can give you any concrete answerws. If you've only had it for a week or so, then there's still a chance it will go. But again, we can't tell you that.

    A Month In: Some Questions

You should always wear earplugs when going to concerts. ALWAYS unless it is pretty quiet. YOU don't want ot get tinnitus from noise exposure that was completely preventable.
