Prednisone is just a corticosteroid. It stops inflammation. It has all sorts of side effects but I don't think going after support cells is one of them.

I'm in California, each trip costs me $1k and my employer has an office in Dublin where I can drop in and work so it's not costing me PTO. I'd obviously rather not be spending money but it's worth the try.

Because I've begun the process of habituation. It's always there when I think about it but I now go for hours at a time without noticing it--including in environments where I used to notice it constantly. Habituation is my cure. Lenire is just icing on the cake.

I used neomycin eardrops and that brought me back into tinnitus world (I got it in 2015 but had habituated to the point of forgetting I had it).

At this point, everything except for classical music (lack of percussion means my tinnitus screams through on top) --that said, other music works fine, and I will keep doing immersion therapy with classical music and someday I will enjoy that again as well. I won't let tinnitus take anything...
