I just don't know how much longer I can take.

My ears are plugged up. I don't know why. The noise is in my head and it's loud. It sounds like a bad windy day or a semi truck driving through a tunnel. Whooshing sound? I can't even explain it. Does anyone know what that is? It's worse than my regular tinnitus. I feel hopeless.

@OnceUponaTime I'm not taking anything for my anxiety. I might need to though.

I had a panic attack a week ago and I still have a spike in my tinnitus. How long does it take for ears to heal after having a panic attack?

It's weird because the last spike I had was May 25th. That's exactly 3 months. So I'm hoping these spikes will keep fading away.

For the past month it seemed like my T was so low that I had to listen for it. It was reactive to loud noise but I could handle it. But for some reason today it is blaring, it's a 11 out of 10. I don't understand. Is it because of the caffeine I had 12 hours before?

@strato2009 Today I had sugar free oatmeal for breakfast. Then lunch had a greek salad. Then for dinner I had hard boiled eggs with some tomatoes and cucumbers. My T is not as loud as yesterday. I think if I stay away from sugar and salt T might go from 8/10 to 2/10. I don't know if it'll ever...

The last 2 weeks were probably the best 2 weeks since 6 months of getting T. It was lower than ever. Now it's loud again. I'm thinking maybe it's diet? I've been eating lots of foods with sugar and salt.

Just wanted to give you guys an update. I'm mostly on the computer than on the phone. So it worked out perfectly.

I'm 5'3 and 230 lbs. It's the heaviest I've ever been. My eating habits are terrible. I eat a lot of sweet and salty foods. I'm addicted to food because it makes me feel good but I think my health will be affected. Can obesity also cause tinnitus?

When my T is low my bp is 128/74. When my T is loud my bp is 152/95. Could this be the cause of my T and ETD?

You're right @LadyDi. Everytime I take sudafed l get an anxiety attack. That's why I'm taking mucinex first to see if that helps.

Thanks @Vaba. I do have sudafed so if the mucinex don't work I'll take that. I've been sick since memorial day and it seems my ears are always the last to heal.

I have a head cold and my tinnitus is worse and also my ETD is worse. My ears are plugged up. Will my ears feel better when my cold is gone?

Heat is usually is the best option.

With ETD, a hot water bottle works. Seems like tinnitus gets lower and fluid comes out. Is that a good sign?

Anxiety and panic attacks.

Has anyone tried acupuncture and had success? I'm thinking of trying it.

I have very bad allergies and sinuses. It's been 2 months for me and finally feel a little better. The ringing is still there but it has decreased somewhat. Believe me I felt horrible the first month.

I went through this and still do on some days. Yoga and meditation helped a lot.
