Hearing loss causes tinnitus. They won't measure your tinnitus unless you are in TRT. My tinnitus is usually much louder than any loss that I have. I'm not sure it's always related.

Honestly, I think we all have a better chance of it going away on its own than we do of ever actually seeing a cure.

@SilverSpiral Can you post your audiogram? It should be fairly easy to tell by looking at it what the possibilities are. Maybe someone here can help you. I would try. You listed a lot of things here but they can't all be possibilities. Your audiogram will rule some of them out.
