Oh my god me too! Its Crickets, Hissing, High pitch something I can't even decribe, whistling, sometimes the blank station on a radio all at the same time! Louder when i cover my ears or lying down on a pillow.

Depends, I experimented with that too. I noticed if i didn't get a good night sleep, it is pretty loud the next day once i woke up. But then lessens after i fully woke up. But if i get a really good sleep of 8 hours or more, its really quiet. so i do really think there is a connection.
